2017 pacifica

I honestly loved the touring and that’s why I went with a Pacifica this round. The front sits so low that it feels like it’s always scraping the ground on bumps, etc.. the back passenger windows are hard to see out of from the front when turning to back up or look out. I’ve had some engine issues (new coil, hard shifting) and this will not be my next vehicle!

🍋 lemon

I try to see the bright side on some things, but this vehicle is as close to a lemon as I hope to ever experience. The bad luck started with a horrible purchase experience 5 years ago but that's not the vehicle's fault. We haven't made it to 60k miles and we've had it in the shop multiple times for recalls and unexpected needs. We've had to replace both batteries (yes, there are two) without having done anything stupid like leaving lights on to drain them. The automatic doors never close on the first try, and they freeze shut really easily in the winter. I know that's a prob with lots of minivans but this one is worse than other ones we've owned. The transmission jerks at a slow speed when accelerating from a stop enough to think you've been rear ended. I do like lots of things about the interior design, but overall we're going to trade this in for something else as soon we find the right replacement.

Too many visits to the service center

Our vehicle is a 2017, we bought it new, but drive it a lot and have 58,000 miles on it. However, we have had it in and out of the shop numerous times. At this moment, we are waiting for a coil for one of the cylinders in the engine. The coil is on backorder. So the vehicle has to sit in my driveway for weeks until one can be located. It seems like an unusual part to go out in such a new vehicle. My check engine light stays on all the time because of an emissions code that can’t be fixed.

I like the car but the cars of today just have too much in them and I believe some of it is not needed. The car is new and and at this time all is well.I hope to be driving it more now that the weather it geting better

Complex car, has its failings

Several electronic problems with seat motors. Repeated transmission “slamming” into gear. Dash is not user friendly, not intuitive audio system. Loaded with every feature. I like the safety package

Disappointed

All the bells and whistles in a very comfortable vehicle. Ongoing problems with electronics, e.g. windows, doors, transmission jerk. A battery life indicator would be helpful instead of electronics going haywire.

I love Chrysler products But...

I love Chrysler products but VMI Conversion part is another story. I have had my van in to United Access several times to get things fixed that has to do with VMI. Next time I will try Braun mobility.

Not a want to be Minivan

Chrysler has it down. This van work perfect for out family. My wife loves it. I work for another Auto company but had to turn my head just a little to buy this Chrysler. Only had a three of issues outside of a couple of recalls. There appears to be a body/rust issue common to the Pacifica on the hood down the seam on the drivers side. . It is bubbling and Chrysler covers it under the warranty. Concerns are what happens down the road? Cruise control set at 40MPH on the analog but digitally shows 63. Auto Start top warring light on, only fix is go to the dealer to fix. Deselection auto start stop does not make the light go away. Should be able to turn this off.if longer term do not want to spend the money to fix.

Great car but

It is a great car. It handles well, it accelerates nicely, we get great gas mileage, and I especially love the stow and go seats. However in the year that we have had it, it has been back in the garage a half a dozen times reminder things, all of which were under warranty yeah, but it's such a nuisance.

2017 Chrysler Pacifica

I have had this vehicle for a year and a half... so far... it’s a work horse! I have four small children who are very busy. I have taken it on long trips and it is comfortable. Love the heated seats! Fog lights! The only thing I miss is an independent map system... never fails to receive a call just at the moment where you need directions! Other con... if you have others that need a ride... no room for larger than little people in the backseat. It’s a solid ride!

Three years owned...just OK

Husband loves it. Me...so-so...it’s a darn van .. big and bulky. Requires space to park. Comfortable for long distance travel, occasional delays with the starting mechanism which is a concern, gas mileage 24+ on interstates. I would not purchase again but husband would because he “can fit a sheet of plywood in the back when the seats are down”.

good on gas, easy to get in and out of. Room to fit most articles in, great pickup , ability to get in flow of traffic on interstates. comfortable ride in any seat front middle or rear.Don't like auto engine stop when at light.

A fabulous, luxurious, minivan

This 2017 Chrysler Pacifica is a dream. It is beautifully appointed, beautifully styled, and so comfortable to drive in both city and on long trips. It has great pickup and feels and handles beautifully. It has an abundance of storage when the back seats are stowed down, therefore it serves a variety purposes. This is my all-time favorite vehicle.

Extremely nice vehicle

Have had a lot of SUVs and minivans (among other vehicles) and I have to say this is the nicest one and most technically advanced one of them all. Great styling inside and out, lots of features, lots of luxury (we have a loaded Limited), seating for seven, tow capacity of 3600 pounds, 285hp, and almost 30mpg highway -- what more could you ask for? This does everything an SUV does with more comfort. And this thing is QUIET. Sure, awd would be nice, but then it would get a lot less economy -- I simply bought a set of 4 Blizzak snow tires and we go anywhere we need to, including Mount Baker -- what's nice about using fwd with snow tires vs awd is better fuel economy year round, and snow tires stop better than any awd suv with factory tires.

A Very Satisfied Customer

After having purchased my Pacifica 10 months ago and driving it for almost 14,000 miles, I am very pleased with it. I find it to provide a most comfortable ride and enjoy the ease of simply turning a knob to shift gears, pressing a button to make hands-off phone calls and having plenty of leg room in the driver’s seat. The incredible amount of storage room in the “stow and go” areas and in the back of the vehicle, as well as other convenient features of the Pacifica, have made me a most happy customer.
