O Stars

Worst vehicle I have ever owned. Head Gasket oil leak at 30,000 miles, bad crankshaft at 54,000. No car now and walking everywhere at age 60. Thanks Chrysler.

Not impressed.

I’ve had no major problems with the car but it is very uncomfortable riding in it. I definitely would not buy another PT Cruiser.

I bought this car as a runabout and to go to the beach, it's a covertable.

It was used with over 170,000 miles, so when the turbo failed I wrote that off as age cost $1000. Now the fan assembly went out, it cost over $600. It runs nice and the exterior and interior is in good condition. So, if you plan to buy a used PT Cruiser be prepared to spend some money.in repairs.

A Truck Minus the Height

I like my truck, it is the right size for me. It carry things like the big SUV's without the having to lift as high. It does not have that big step up to get in.

Love my Cruiser, although upkeep is becoming expensive

This is the most user-friendly, sensibly-designed and fun car. I am bummed that Chrysler no longer makes them.

Favorite Car

This has been the most favorite car I have ever had, From the moment I first saw one on the street, I wanted one. Since I've had it (2005) I have completely enjoyed driving it, and hope to continue as long as possible. It's not perfect, and through the years I have had different problems, but they have always been fixable. What car doesn't have problems??

It's a fun little car

We bought our PT as a tow vehicle, but we find it's much more. We use it as an everyday vehicle too. It gets good gas milage, has enough power for a get-around-town vehicle, is fun to drive, and easy to service. If I had anything negative at all to say about it, it would be that the motor mounts are worn and expensive to replace and that running a break-away line through the firewall is a job best reserved for professionals rather than do-it-yourselfers like me.

Pt Cruiser

I love my cruiser, even though I've had a sensor go out on it several times making it difficult to drive when it does, but I appreciate the fact it will still drive.

2005 PT Cruiser

She'll take us anywhere and better yet, she'll be sure to bring us back too. She's dependable, economical, fun to drive, and because she's a standard transmission model, she's flat towable behind our motorhome. She's light weight too, so she's inexpensive to tow. If there's a negative, it's that she is slightly underpowered. Don't get me wrong, she'll do 70 or 75 mph on the freeway easily.

Luv my car.....luv my convertible GT/PT, just luv my car. I need some help with my rear window defrost...there are breaks in the lines and I cannot find anyone to fix the problem. I need my defrost please.

Good little car

The cruiser has been a dependable vehicle.At 175k I have had to spend some money on it but just normal wear.It still runs great and I plan to drive it until something catastrophic happens like a head gasket or a rod or something.

‘05 Chrysler PT Cruiser Turbo GT Convertible

Let me start by saying that I AM NOT, and never have been a “car” driving kinda gal... I like my big, 4 wheel drive, diesel, pick up trucks, and that’s what I have always driven. However, I acquired this lil car in a literal horse trade, as partial payment toward the animal the folks were wanting to purchase. I did NOT expect to like this car, but I actually like it ALOT! It’s economical, sporty, (mine is the 2 door sport convertible) and hella cute when the top is down. Decent ride, not like a lot of smaller “sporty-type cars tend to ride. I give mine a 4 out of 5 stars. I would NOT, however, recommend the 4 door, hard top, hatch back models. My uncle purchased one brand new, and the ride was horrible! Maybe the difference is the fact that one is a sporty model while one is not. I love mine!

It is a good truck. I did not purchase it new, I believe I was it's 3rd or owner. It was expensive to get some things fixed initially. Between my mechanics follow up and my insuring parts are updated. It is doing well for it's age.

It's hatchback is just what the doctor proscribed for me. i don't have to lift up and lift out of the trunk. I may simply pull an let cargo drop to an awaiting cart or the ground or lift up only once. Getting in and out is with ease. Where it can be uncomfortable sitting on my sofa, I can drive for hours in comfort in my truck.

First time experience with Deano's Automotive Repair

My PT Cruiser Review

I have a 2005 PT Cruiser convertible, turbo. I love it. I bought it new, it has everything I wanted, leather seats, the color choice etc. I have 119K miles on it, my husband thinks I should get a new car because of the high miles I have on this car, but I haven't found a car I like better and I hate car payments!! LOL I do think a lot of people dislike working on the PT Cruiser, they say everything is so cramped under the hood and therefore not fun to work on. However, now that I have found Desert Care Care of Gilbert, AZ I feel like I can enjoy my car for quite awhile longer!!
