My Neon

It's a great little car... Tough, reliable and good on gas. Maintenance is cheap and most repair jobs you can do yourself. I love the lil cute car- I use it as my basic daily transportation and drive it everywhere all year- my other car is a 2016, C7 Corvette Stingray and thanks to my 2003 Neon it hardly ever comes outta the garage...

Brakes

Other than the brakes are way to small for stopping in an emergency this is an OUTSTANDING vechical. I have 201,578 miles on mine and its still running like day one. The key is oil changes. Only changed plugs maybe 4 times. I love the long leg seat in my SXT! Mileage was about 43 till I had it turned up at dealership. Now I only get average of 36. Dealer keeps telling me to trade it off because of the year. I tell them when they sell something that gets some mileage even close to mine ill buy another. Its been 17 years and I'm still waiting. With care and oil changes ever 3000 miles its just keeps running.

Neon SXT

Only problem I have with it is the brakes don't stop you safely/quickly. They're to small for emergency stopping at speed. The car is outstanding and I wish Dodge would manufacturer them again. The SXT gives the driver more leg room if you are long legged as I am. The power windows, mirrors and door locks all work great. I have sold 3 different people on this vehicle. I wish I could get another new one.

Overall this is an excellent car. I love my little 03 neon SXT. It’s a decent car for the price, cheap to maintain, easy to work on, good on gas etc. l

Neon SXT

Best little car and great gas milage. Why did Dodge stop making them? It's a great little car and great gas mileage. I'd buy another if Dodge was still making them. The high back bucket seats are very comfortable and the leg room for tall driver in the SXT is good.

Neon SXT

This is a great little car. Great gas mileage and very inexpensive to drive as long as you keep the oil changed every 3000 miles. I have 198,,000 miles on mine and haven't had any major issues. Only problem I have with the Neon is the brakes are to small. In an emergency situation they will not stop you in time. If Dodge would fix this one problem they would have a great vehicle. I got the 5 speed transmission so I use the engine as a brake by down shifting in emergency situations. I would really like to see Dodge fix this problem and start producing Neon's again.

It gets me where I want to go!!

I’m hoping my Neon keeps running as long as I do & with the help of Auto Village I am confident that will happen!!! It’s not the greatest looking& has got a few dents but very little rust & it’s easy for me to find in a parking lot!!

2003 Getting old!

I really like my 2003 Dodge Neon and appreciate Auto Village keeping it on the road for me!! I am hoping this will be my last vehicle do with the help of Auto Village to keep it running good …. It will be!!
