‘17 Fird Edge Titanium

It’s really a Lincoln with a Ford Badge! V-6 power! All the bells and whistles! Actually Traded our ‘13 Edge SEL which we really liked! Heated & cooled seats, Apple play, heated rear seats, memory seats for 3 settings, power tailgate , foot activated is very handy!

Great ride

This has been the most reliable car I have owned. Except for the recalls .. there have been no failure of any systems. A very quiet and smooth SUV to drive. I have the v6 and have no complaints.

wanted a six cylinder; ended with a four.

too many little things seem to go wrong with it. started with transmission leak; then backing up camera failed; then air conditioning needed replacing, and now it needs the Purge Control Valve replaced.

Nothing but problems.

Once the vehicle hit 65k miles, nothing but problems. Torque converter, transmission and engine all had to be replaced. Been a Ford customer for three generations but for my next car I might need to learn how to spell Chevrolet!

Very comfortable car

My Ford Edge is very comfortable to drive and ride in. It has plenty of pep and gets good gas milage.It is just the right size. Not to big and not too small. I love the panoramic sun roof.It has been very reliable. I am anxious to get the next generation.

Lemon

Horrible. Engine replaced at 33000 miles, under carriage, back panel, trunck latch, fan blower. It all went at 33000. Now engine is going again and fan blower. Ford rigged the under carriage they replaced. Horrible customer service!!!

Great vehicle.

I really like this vehicle. I didn't want a truck. This is exactly what I needed. I don't have many miles on it, but it gets a lot of usage in my volunteering.. I would get it again. It rides good and can haul lots of things.

Great car

This is my third Edge and will definitely look to get another. Only thing I DO NOT like about the 2021 models is they DO NOT hand a gear shifter. They have a little “nobbie”. I have one for my radio, I don’t want one to change gears. Stupidest thing I have ever seen, but maybe that is just me. When they go back to a gear shifter, I’ll look at getting another.

Edgy

I love my Ford Edge, I love the color, and love how comfortable it is to drive, especially because I spend the greater majority of my day in my car. I am a community based social worker, so I travel all over Cleveland and the surrounding suburbs daily. I have not had any issues to date except for wear and tear(brakes)

Great car!

Ford Edge is very confutable vehicle, very quiet ride. Nice handling easy to parallel park. The V6 has a lot of power but it comes with gas consumption average city is around 16mil/gal. There are few minor things that needs design improvements like gaskets around doors keep coming off especially rear doors. The backup camera needs fo be frequently clean and when rainy water droplets obscuring vision. The AWD has some hesitation when driven trough puddles, it needs to be quicker respond to whiles that grips.

Great Ride

Love this car! Very dependable and a comfortable ride! Great gas mileage! Great style, not as boxy as my former vehicle. Love the large sun roof that even the back seat passengers can enjoy. Not really sure what the paddles are for. Never use them.

4 cyl hottie

Had not owned a Ford product in many years until my first gen Edge, which led me back to the brand for this current model. The 4cyl with turbo has more guts than I could have imagined. 4w dr and rack and pinion helps it handle excellently for this 72 year old who still likes to punch it. My wife feels the same. Great car.

Great SUV

Love the performance and the style. Gets good gas mileage and is very comfortable on long trips. I would buy one again. Have recommended it to my family and friends. I had an Escape before I bought my Edge. The comfort level of the Edge is light years ahead of the Escape.

2017 Edge titanium

We bought the vehicle used. We were torn between the Edge and Escape. The Edge has a fantastic ride and gas mileage for its size. The 2 liter 4 cylinder turbo is surprising for its size. We would by another Edge at this point.

Exactly what I wanted

I really like it. I hope it lasts a long time. Acceleration some times is hesitant. Adjusting the steering wheel would be nicer if I had more options for height and comfort. Next time I will get leather seats.

My Gray Ghost

This is my third Edge, a 2017, and I love it. Would get another and probably will. Runs great. Rides great with plenty of amenities and has plenty of horsepower. Handles very good. Love the styling.

Ford Edge vehicle review

I have only owned Jeep Grand Cherokees since 1994, and I usually purchase a new car every three years. Since I'm getting older, I thought it was time I got into a vehicle that was a little smaller, but I still wanted the advantage of an SUV with 4 wheel drive. I have owned this car for a little over a year, and I've been very happy with it.
