I love my car.

What can I say about a 22 year old car that keeps on going - with the thanks of Glenn's Auto Repair? It's perfect for me. I've ridden in newer models and they feel like a station wagon compared to a smaller SUV.

2002 Escape 2WD

Have really enjoyed this SUV and will keep it going til it quits! It is very reliable and easy to handle and looks good on the road. It can handle small loads and a few large ones easily and can still accommodate 5 passengers comfortably. I like the higher ceiling for headroom for passengers too. I am also pleased that there are parts still available for any repairs to the car too. over all, a great little vehicle.

Great turning radius

What my 2002 Ford Escape lacks in space is more compensated by its handling and reliability. I plan to use this auto for many years, unless the air conditioning needs to be replace after 2020. Good get-up-and-go.

I love my Escape, especially the rubber bumpers and the cheery yellow color which makes it easier find in the parking lot. She does have issues but at 16 I think she's allowed.

Best vehicle I've ever had!

OK - so I AM still driving my 2002 Ford Escape. There's a reason why: It's quite simply the best vehicle I've ever had. Sure, I've looked at new vehicles because, after all the Escape is now 16 years old with over 200K miles on it, but I have yet to find a new SUV I like better than this Escape! I researched this vehicle extensively before purchasing it new in 2002 & have religiously maintained it. The only service I've had to do to this SUV are the few things you'd expect to fix (like replace brakes or a new battery) in a car of this age & mileage. I love this SUV & am thinking I'll shoot for another 200K miles or 16 years, whichever comes first. Thank you FORD - you built a winner in 2002.

Ford Escape

My 2002 Escape now has 260,000 miles on it. We did replace the transmission at 250,000 miles, but most other repair has been largely maintenance. I love that car!

Best vehicle I've owned

Design is exactly how I like it. Shift lever on the steering column makes the center console less intrusive and gives a little more side knee area than newer models. The view out the windows is very good with fairly small blind spots. The V6 has good power, a little laggy on the low end. The door moldings are starting to whistle a little as the vehicle gets older. The multi-disc changer AM/FM radio SUCKED.

Escape

I bought this Escape for myself as a Mother's Day present! My daughter in law had one and after I rode in it I was sold. Since then my son also bought one.

Love my Escape

Best car I have ever owned. Practically re-built the vehicle over the last fourteen years. But, I love it's size, it's look and it's great in the snow. It has good storage space and it's a versatile vehicle. Wish I could afford to buy another Escape. LOVE MY CAR.

13 Years and still going strong

I bought this vehicle new 13 years ago for my wife. We have driven it cross-country several times and it has never failed us. Naturally it take it's share of maintenance costs but overall this vehicle is very resilient. She has a new car now so this one is now mine to drive daily. A great investment in a tough little SUV. It still runs and drives just like it did when we bought it. Ford did good when they made this vehicle. If owners just take great care of their investment is will continue to last many years and still going....
