For it being a 2001 it still is in great shape. A few cosmetic things are starting to show their age great to drive Love the room. They don’t make it anymore so I can’t recommend it to purchase but if they did I would

Ed’s Excursion

I love it. I had a Physics teacher in HS who drove a big big vehicle, too. He stressed to put weight on your side when venturing out on the road. I never saw him again but bought bigger vehicles as I got older and more fearful of other drivers’ lack of caution.

My Excursion

Runs great, smooth, and quiet. Could have better gas mileage. Could have better paint on roof. Good exhaust system. Quieter tire are needed but I need aggressive tread to deliver in sandy areas...

MY V-10 EXCURSION

I BOUGHT THIS TRUCK 2 YEARS AGO TO PULL A TRAILER FOR THE BOY SCOUTS AND HAVE ONLY PULLED IT TWICE. IT IS ROOMY AS I AM 6'6" WITH FOUR BOYS ALL AROUND THIS SIZE. AT 300,000 MILES IT STARTING TO SHOW IT'S AGE AND IS COSTING A COUPLE OF BUCKS TO KEEP IT GOING. EXCURSIONS FROM WHAT I EXPERIENCE ARE A SPECIAL BREED AND ALMOST LIKE BEING IN AN EXCLUSIVE CLUB. YOU JUST HAVE TO REMEMBER, IT IS STILL A TRUCK, NOT A STATION WAGON LIKE THE COMPETITION.
