Love driving the truck it’s big and safe

Truck is big lot of space traveling cross country you feel real safe, I’ve had some problems down the road with it basic stuff with a super Duty Excursion thank God nothing major for a truck that has 195000 on it believe it when I say no replacement on the starter, Alternator, AC. Trans., interior stuff, exterior stuff love it I’ve owned over 34 Vehicles this one has carried my family safely thur the years love it

Biggest and best

I don't believe a bigger, more powerful/reliable SUV exists than a 7.3 Excursion. It makes hunting and fishing trips easy for the whole family to stretch out with room for more gear than you need and pulls a 24' Gaudet like it isn't there.

The Rig

7.3 Turbo diesel. Upgraded leather, recently had the front seats upholstered. Great condition great family SUV. Safe on the road. Rides well. Interior/ exterior in great shape. All maintenance records on file. No engine modifications.

Owning a Ford Excursion is a really great experience

My Ford Excursion is a few miles away from hitting the 1/4 million mile mark and it will soon be striving to hit the 1/2 million mark. It is super reliable and I feel totally safe in it even on the Washington beltway. It has made it from DC area to NH on one tank of fuel and gets surprisingly good mileage for such a big car. (18-19 mpg) It holds almost any amount of weight fits many people and dogs and has ample space for a lot of luggage. One could not ask for a better vehicle. My son in law was so impressed that he also bought one and we are now in a competition of who has the most mileage. I will never regret my purchase of a Ford Excursion.

Ford Excursion

My Ford Excursion will turn 250,000 miles soon and it still is a great car no real problems in its life so far. I am forever glad I bought it in 2002 and never had a car do so well.

7.3l Ford Excursion

This is a real SUV with plenty of power. Cabin is big and comfortable. A small lift and sway bars are recommended.

Ford Excursion

Undoubtedly one of the strongest and best cars ever made! I have about 1/4 million miles on it and no signs of it not making it to 1/2 million. My daughter and her husband saw how great mine was and bought one too. Both have gone near 1/4 million miles without major problems. With Diesel engines mileage is about 19mpg in summer and 18 in winter. Both are 4wd. Can't beat the inside space and how smooth they ride on long trips. Have never been able to overload it with people, luggage or cargo and it hass a great advantage of being easy to find in a parking lot.

2002 For Excursion 4x4 Limited

This is a very well built truck. My diesel engine is running very well at +200K miles. Keeps going and going. Fun to drive, especially on cruise going up a hill (blowing right by the sports cars at red line on the tach) :)
