Dependable and a Workhorse

This year Ford F150 has been rated as one of Fords best. With 144K miles it has had only a few issues.In the 13 years I've had it has been a workhorse and done all that I could possibly ask of it. Oceanside Tire and Service Center has done a great job when this truck needed care. D. Lafond6

2002 Ford Super Duty

2002 king ranch

Bought the 2002 because I loved my 2001 and also bought a 2013 another great truck, ford trucks have always been tough and dependable 325,000 miles on the 2001 and I only got rid of it because of the rusted frame

I like my F150 SuperCrew

When they debut the 1997-2003 F series pickup SuperCrew this vehicle really was ahead of it's time by far with it's three engine sizes. 4.2 essex V6, 4.6 and the 5.4 Triton V8. With the rounded futuristic design.

18 years and going strong

Biggest problem is that it’s so old when something does need replaced it’s hard to fine but 18 years is a long time for a daily work truck and still going strong. The interior has maintained it color very well and the wear is minimal. No rattles and on the highway it is quite.

Actually it is a F250 Super Duty

I purchased the truck in 2002 with the 7.3 ltr. ending. It was purchased for its pulling power. Since then It has pulled several RV's and equipment and feed trailers and at 155,000 miles it seems bullet proof.

Time Tested and Patience

2nd owner. 2002 SCREW 4X4. I try to do all my repairs so by necessity I have needed to take my skills to another level on this one. Typical spark plugs blowing out, rear end shutters, leaking rear axle bearings. Rear glass leaks, sun roof broke. Exhaust manifolds rusted out with holes! Studs for manifold had to be drilled out. Rocker panels both rusted out due to improper running board installation by PO. Its not just a ford thing, all truck brands have their pitfalls. Still driving after 200 K mile. Can't afford to replace it. Its paid for and I think I can make it last a little longer. Looking at later 3V models, I think I'm lucky to have only the above go wrong with it.

Best Truck I Have Ever Owned

This is a 2002 Ford F-350 4x4 Crew Cab with a 7.3L Diesel it has about 120K miles and has had nothing other than factory recommended general maintenance done to it. The operating cost on this truck is much lower than several of my other vehicles (newer vehicles) this is the best truck I have ever owned.

7.3 Diesel Ford F-250

It has been a delight to own, a little expensive to purchase but a great overall experience. Usual maintenance expenses, my salesman,Tom Owings said he would probably not see him to buy another truck because the truck and engine were so durable. He was right, I visited him a lot but I am still driving it with over 273,000 miles on it. A great value and a wonderful truck that has taken me and my wife to all of the lower 48 United States.

02 lightning

Love the truck, feels like sports car and hauls when you need it. Handles better and just as fast as 96 CORVETE I traded in for it. Had it for 12 yrs now and no regrets yet ! Only con about truck is limited tire selection but SCOTTS tire has that one covered. dave s

Reason Ford pickups are rated #1

Only have 14 years experience with this F-250 that I purchased from my friend Tom OWINGS at Grapevine Ford in 2002. When he sold me this truck he said it was probably going to be the last one he would sell me, and it was because he passed away a couple of years ago. I have put 281,484 miles on this 7.3 Diesel engine with only regular normal maintenance repairs,tires,front end repairs,etc..I have just only replaced the brakes for the second time on July 22,2016. I expect that this truck will see another 250-300,000 miles with good maintenance management in the coming years.

Showroom Quality After 14 Years.

100,000 plus miles and 14 years. Except for the darn animals that sometime get in my way, I have had only two unscheduled service visits. That is in 14 years. The only problem with the service is that it will be a long time until I need to replace this machine. Sorry Sales Department, blame the Service Guys and Gals!

F150 V8 Steel Body

Good Vehicle, has suicide back doors which are a problem in parking lots loading groceries, otherwise has been very dependable.
