Total pile of Junk

It would be easier to list what hasn’t broken. Frozen door locks, frozen windshield washers, sticking window switches. Poorly designed O2 sensors, direct injection that fouls everything. Oil consumption of 1 at per 450 miles and coolant consumption of 1 gal per 400 miles. Constant rough idle. I have owned 3 other Ford trucks with no issues. This one, however, is literally the worst vehicle ever produced. Quite honestly, it makes the Yugo look like an engineering marvel.

2 years old and have spent $3000.00 in repairs

I was a few miles out of warranty it took ford 3 weeks to fix it and cost me $1700. For one turbo plus car rental. 75,000 miles the coolant sensor went out and between repairs and rental cost $500.00

Electrical gremlins

There's alot of electronic, and sensors. The truck has a "limp" mode where it just shuts down if a sensor fails. Leaves you stranded, in the bush, on the highway, the truck just shuts down. Never buy another one.

Great truck, ford cut corners

Great truck, nice ride, great in snow and mud. Moon roof has cheap components and they break easy this is where ford cut corners, they know it’s an issue it’s easily found on the web. Will never buy a Ford with a moon roof again.

Hydroplane

Didn’t take me long to NOT like this truck! Finally I hydroplaned on freeway and hit the wall! Reduced my speed as there was a down pour happening and out of the blue seen rear end of truck coming around I tried to counter steer and shot right into the wall

Beautiful interior

While the Limited model has looks, performance and technology advances, disappointing has been the little gremlins. This is my first Ford ever and I am a bit disenchanted, none the less great looks in and out.

F150 2016.

Good truck most of it is much better than the 2008 I had. The 2008 was great and I put 150,000 miles on it, but wanted a newer truck. The 2016 is great but has some design flaws. I have called Ford, and written Emails to them with no response. See flaws under the cons section. The truck gets much better gas millage, and is quieter, interior is pleasant, overall Truck is much better than the 2008.

Clumsy interior

Overall it’s been a nice truck with far fewer problems than any of my 3 suburban air 2 envoys. The main complaint is the awkward controls for thinks like defrost or fan. You have to take you eyes off the road to find a little black button buried in the dark sea of buttons on the center console. The same thing is true for the steering wheel heat. You have to accurately touch a tiny spot on the radio display while bouncing down the road. A simple switch would lad go a long way to make it more use friendly.

Good truck with some minor electrical issues. Overall, very pleased.

I purchased the 2016 F150 new and am currently at ~110k miles with no major issues or having the truck leave me anywhere. The engine V6 turbo really moves, and I've had no issues hauling heavy loads (e.g., very large wood chipper). The driver and passenger seats could be a little more comfortable for long drives, but they are not terrible. The only minor issue I've had is electrical - both rear window motors have gone (1 in warranty, 1 outside warranty) even with very limited use, and the radio very infrequently stops working (usually on a day where there was a lot of rain, but this is inconsistent). These are minor annoyances that wouldn't stop me from purchasing another F150, because I really like the truck otherwise.

A great truck, but expensive to maintain

My F-150 does the work of a 3/4 ton truck, without the massive footprint. I've never had it not start or break down on me, but repairs are pricey. Living in the Midwest is tough on vehicles - salt, bad roads, cold, etc. I love my truck, but I wish it got better than 17 MPG. I have two large dogs, and the F-150 is large on the inside and comfortable for all of us. I think if I were asked to say what I might change, I would have gotten the 5L V8 engine instead of the EcoBoost V6.

My new truck

This is one nice looking truck that can pull a trailer, haul anything and just be a pleasure to drive. I suddenly find myself planning trips as my new ford 150 is so comfortable, and easy to handle, and did I mention a sharp looker as well!

My gorgeous 2016 F-150 Lariat

I didn't expect to buy another truck so soon, but I totaled my 2010. I LOVE this truck. Brian Laredo found the perfect truck, with everything I wanted. It's comfortable, beautiful and I already know it will keep me safe during my 70 mile commute to work each day. There are so many new gadgets to play with that will make me feel at home. I upgraded to the Crew Cab (4 outside door handles) this time and still can't believe all the room I have. The remote open of the tailgate is fantastic; with the new aluminum body I no longer have to heave and struggle to close it. I'm still getting used to the push button start/stop, but love that too. There is nothing more I could add to make me love my truck more.
