I really like our Taurus . because it runs great and is very comfortable to drive . lots of room.

2009 Ford Taurus

I purchased this car in 2010 when it had 34,000 miles. It now has 133,000 and looks like it will last to 200,000. It has a large trunk and I can tow my 15 food keel sailboat handily. The rear seat is spacious and comfortable, with its own A/C vent. It is a little noisier than I would like. Transmission noises and some road noise are noticeable. But not bad enough to motivate me to trade her, and listening to the radio without damaging my hearing with loud volume is important to me both around town and on road trips. It has comfortable and spacious seats with many adjustments, including lower back. It has required some repairs over the years (A/C compressor, steering assembly). But the expense was trivial compared with car payments. Mileage is only 18 around town and over 24 for highway driving. I like the traditional interior styling a lot. The exterior look--art deco--has grown on me.

Love my 2009 Taurus

Comfortable. I needed a vehicle large enough to tow my 15 foot keel sailboat, but I did not want an SUV that drove like a truck. Tuarus has a spacious back seat and trunk. Dashboard is handsome and traditional. It is laid out in a practical manner. Comfortable seats. Good turning radius for a bigger car. Great visibility for the driver, front and blind spots. Backing is assisted by a sonar beaping device that warns about obstacles to the rear that are too low to see from the driver's seat. It has aged well. At 8 years old with 133,000+ miles, all features work like new. [Except one flapper in the cabin heating and cooling system that cycles sometimes when it cannot decide whether it should be open or shut. I suspect a spring has weakened over time.] Back seats go flat, but the trunk lid interferes with large, stiff long objects such as dressers.

FORD did it right with this car.

Nice to drive, comfortible, relliable, and has good looks. Baught used but if could afford would buy new. Like the interior and outside design. Every thing is at easy touch and easy to read. Sound system is good to.

2009 Ford Taurus

Somewhat hard to believe after so many years and so many cars, but this is the best vehicle I have ever owned. It moves out on the highway and is good in downtown traffic. Large trunk space. Very comfortable and safe. Has been reliable over many years.

Still running well with almost 175,000 miles on it !!

My ford taurus has alot of miles and it is still runs excellent!! It's still very comfortable too and I've never replaced the shock absorbers! This car has served me so well for so long that I'm sticking w a Ford Taurus!

Love it

Mine has 160,000 miles on it.. and I have had no major or minor issues with it.. I'm very happy the only thing I had to have replaced on this car or the brakes the oil and the tire since 2009.. that is a definite blessing
