2021 Genesis G70 Sedan

Love this car, it looks good, performs very well and gets me where I need to go quickly. The stereo system is awesome, the interior looks great, and the quality is superb. I have not had any problems with this vehicle in over 2 years. I've driven it to Georgia a couple of times, no problems. Handles well on the highway and back roads.

Poor build quality

Good performance, but poor build quality. Rattles and creaks from sunroof. Incompetent dealer service. Fading chrome trim in under 1 year. Vehicle is not up to the same standards as bmw and mercedes. I would not recommend until the dealer network improves / can actually fix problems. Dealer scratched my car while in service and would not fix.

Excellent styling, fit, finish. Drivetrain not as refined as competitors. Fuel economy not as good as competitors. Cooled seats a welcome option. Directional headlights should be available. Summer tire life less than expected. Great sound system. That's all.

I think Hyundai, Kia, Genesis provides great vehicles but....

Car is excellent but I am unhappy with my vehicle because I had to go the dealership too many times for repairing. Service is really bad. Like I want to get a new car now. I've always preferred a compact car like G70 or GV70 and they are perfect for me. Price range, performance, design but I am sick of tired of my car. In 2 years, I had to visit the dealership more than 4 times for repairing. And just yesterday engine warning light came on. I contacted the fucking service team online and chatter just ended the chat I was texting something I was concerned on. And she said service team will contact me as soon as possible but there is no response yet. If they don't call me back, it is fucking 3rd times. At the first time I've been waiting for their call for 2 months. To chatter I told her I hope to schedule an appointment tomorrow because of the engine warning light just appeared. It seems already I can't appoint the fucking service tomorrow again.

Great drive but too many annoying bits

Please see below...Great drive...not having my contacts on board and having to deal with a hyundai network that's spotty at best is very frustrating... back seat way too small...gas tank too small-driving range too short...I can think of so many better ways to use the space currently occupied by drive mode selector

My coments

I would definately consider purchasing a 2025 Genesis if and when they are available. I have no plans to consider a hybred, so if a gasoline model is not available I will look for a manufactuer that still offers a gasoline model. If no other manufactuer offers a gasoline model I will keep the Genesis I currently have until it is no longer servicable.

Excellent!

It's just a great car!!! My son and daughter borrow it any chance they get as does my wife! At my age, I won't be buying many new cars, my G70 is probably my next to last! I wish I were younger or Hyundai was introduced to Hyundai/Genesis earlier in my life!!!

Love Car, hate braking system

I love my car but am so disappointed with the braking system. Always have problems! Love the warranty package given. Like the design on the exterior and interior. I have the sport edition so love the pickup and timing on pickup. Had problems with the exterior trim work fading.

Sleek Luxury for Good Price

I love the sleek and sporty design and look of the 2021 G70. The front and back end are especially sleek. Love the LED headlights. Seats are comfortable, backseat is small, but I do not typically have more than myself and spouse in the car. Trunk has adequate space. Feature I wish it had--air conditioned seats/steering wheel since I live in AZ. And only thing that I dislike is the nav system. It rarely works and has a lot of room for improvement.

Most excellent car and value for the money. I have had more compliments on this vehicle than any other vehicle I have owned (even though some were more expensive than this car) it's beautiful styling, excellent sound system and great performance with the 3.3 Twin Turbo. A fun and pleasurable car to drive.

Unbeatable entry level luxury car at any price

The g70 holds it's own against the C class and 3 series, for thousands less with a better warranty. If you're not at least considering a Genesis for your next luxury car, you're making a mistake. It handles as well as the BMWs I've owned, and rides smoother than the C class.

Fun to Drive

This car is stylish and fun to drive. The safety features are great. The technology is easy to use and very functional. This is my third Genesis and I really like it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the maintenance availability is extremely lacking, if not horrible. They need more sincerely certified service specialists that can actually work on Genesis cars.

Tempest review, my G70

I wish other colors were available other than black on black. The auto hold feature sometimes confuses me because it would cause the car to completely shut the engine off. I would've preferred the G80 because it was my first choice and I would have a little more room. I love the car overall though minus not having the auto wipers and auto trunk close feature.

Like it.

The works good it had nice seats could be a littler bigger and have more features but overall I like it. Road noise not to bad and handles good. Gas is also good not the worse. But you get what you pay for.
