Great car. Excellent workmanship, beautiful looks, power (3.3 liter engine), handles well, interior looks very upscale, very nice features including heads up display, 10 inch center display, I love the color (Siberian Ice). A very fun car to drive and one the draws a lot of attention and positive comments.

Low, Fast and Fun

Pretty amazing car. Thrilling in fact! I left a BMW-X2 for this and I'm glad I did. Gets a lot of looks and truly punches above its weight. Engine sounds are aggressive. Very comfortable on long drives. "Arrest me Red" paint really shows off the cars line along with the black chrome accents. Very happy!

Great sports sedan; not luxury brand though

The G70 3.3T is a fantastic car, but it is let down by the brand/dealership experience. The local Genesis/Hyundai dealer share premises. Hyundai has a modern office: Genesis has a trailer. Genesis service (9/10 calls) goes to Hyundai service where the rep sends call to VM. Most initial VMs do not get returned until after 2nd or 3rd call. Staff are nice in person or on phone. Underbody cladding fell off on highway; warranty claim denied, even though staff agreed it should not have been...was directed to call corporate office. As a brand that wants to be considered even as an entry level luxury one, there is a long way to go. This is unfortunate, as I like the design language of the brand and the G70 as a car.

Beautiful styling/Terrible fuel economy

At first sight you’re taken back by the beautiful styling of the G70. After actually using the car day to day you realize how small the care actually is. I have an 8 and 9 year old who beg me not to use this car to take them anywhere because of the size of the limited leg room. Fuel economy is a big negative. I will say the v6 engine is fun to drive.

So close

I had high hopes for this car and this brand in general. After a year with the car, the concessions genesis made to remain competitive in the segment have become very apparent, and some of them are hard to live with in a daily driver. Harsh downshifts in any drive mode, bad gas mileage, soft paint make driving this thing in traffic kind of a drag. The interior has no ambient lighting and is noisy. I don’t mind the harder suspension, or the amount of feedback through the steering wheel, these things are actually positives for me, but they don’t matter in a daily commute. This is a great open road car, but I’m having a hard time justifying its existence in city traffic.

I love almost everything about my 2022 G70

This vehicle is absolutely beautiful inside and out. The performance is excellent with the exception of acceleration in sport mode. The rear end is lost way to easily. If better composed under hard acceleration, if the gas mileage were better and the rear seat offered more legroom, this vehicle would be perfect.

G70 3.3t best car for the money hands down

The car is fast! Responsive and comfortable to drive. Back seat is a little on the small side but I knew this going in. I love this car, it's my daily driver. The gas milage in eco mode is great though I tend to drive in sport mode because it's just too fun.

Excellent car very good aftermarket service provided by dealer the only complaint I would have is it the sales person could’ve spent a little more time going over the vehicle controls

I liked the look of the car I enjoyed the test drive the performance responsiveness I was OK with Salesperson although I felt that more instruction on the features of the car would’ve been useful my experience with the service department has been excellent and they have also assisted in providing additional assistance in understanding because features

Poor exterior and some interior quality

I was very disappointed firstly with the dealership. Their customer service for their most high-end vehicle was far from being treated with satisfactory customer service I might as well have bought a Hyundai sonata. Secondly, I chose to buy a Genesis based on what I thought were great amenities I might as well have bought another high-end vehicle and gotten better customer service and no run around as to how we gonna solve all the issues I'm having with the Genesis. I am hoping Genesis can turn this experience around for the better.

Loving it so far

Bought the Sport Prestige package after taking a test drive and not regretting it for a second. I think the best compliment I can pay is that it's such a perfectly balanced car: from the quick turbo spool to the beautiful, comfortable interior, to the luxury features everywhere inside to the way it feels soooo planted in turns, it's obvious a HUGE amount of time and engineering went into this car. Thoroughly impressed so far. Absolutely worth the price.

Genesis moving in the right direction but has a ways to go

The beautiful exterior and sleek finish make you excited to own or lease one of these vehicles. But space limitations, subpar package options & weird user control placements combined with poor customer service (connected services) curb your expectations. I could not drive more than one person around comfortably due to the backseat having about 3 inches of clearance when the front seats were in the further back position. My wife is 5'2" and even when she's driving I cannot fit behind her in the back seats. The package options additions are not that great unless you get the TOP of the line one. The sport package basically just came with better wheels. The problem is I wanted the sport due to the engine and the wheels etc. vs. the top of the line package. But I lost out on the dash display camera when changing lanes, apple car play via Bluetooth (this model required a cord), trunk auto close, and other options. User controls and buttons for the entertainment display and the climate control are in very weird areas of the dash or just overall hard to reach making it difficult and dangerous to use while driving. The connected services team is sub-par at that, they are supposed to help schedule maintenance and other things vs you having to contact a dealership. However, they never get back to you when they say they will and it takes months to get something scheduled with a dealer, and by that time you are already 2K miles past your scheduled maintenance.

Better than BMW

The G70 is EVERYTHING that an M340i is at 75% the price. An added benefit is you dont see yourself coming and going on every corner and you do not look pretentious. The car handles great, accelerates with ferocity and gets a lot of compliments from people asking what it is and if I like it.

2022 Genesis G70 with Sport Prestige package

The G70 is a great sport sedan and is a terrific value for the price. It drives and handles better than any car I've previously owned, including a Mercedes Benz and a BMW. The G70 is loaded with both luxury and technology features. I find every aspect of the car to be well thought-out and work in a very intuitive way. I'm all around happier with the G70 than any of the 10 or so new cars I've owned previously.

Woth every penny

This is my second genesis leased vehicle and its been worth every penny. I highly recommend purchasing or leasing a genesis. My next lease will be the suv. It handles great in dry weather as well as rain. The sound system at the right volume gives you the feel of a club

Limited Dealer Support

Despite the extravagant promises of concierge service, complementary maintenance, and bumper-to-bumper warranty, I've found dealer support is almost none-existent. Service Dept at the dealer I bought my G70 from became non-responsive, and the one I have to use is a 2-hour drive each way. "Complementary" routine maintenance is a 2-3 month wait. And the "Concierge Service" they brag on is "geographically limited;" i.e., you pretty much have to live next to the dealership. Because they totally separated from Hyundai, there's really no dealer network to rely on. Love the car - better than a C-Class, if you ask me - but buy a Genesis, and you are on your own.

My first Genesis... Not having to take the car in for its first maintenance service for a year and being offered a 10 year warranty says a lot about the confidence they have in the performance of this vehicle. I am also very happy with the service I have received.

Really fun car to drive

Probably the best new car purchased, driving is fun, handles well, no real complaints about this vehicle. The twin turbo is really fast. The styling is total luxurious and plenty of really nice options. I wish you could use Bluetooth for CarPlay with out booking up to phone.
