Excellent luxury car at very competitive price

Great car, good price... beautiful exterior, spectacular interior. Navigation system leaves something to be desired in that the directions are woefully inaccurate. The screen and controls therein are too cumbersome and too confusing. Buttons on steering wheel are too close together leading to errors.

2021 G80 is unbelievable!

I have owned every luxury brand there is, in some cases multiple examples of Mercedes, Audi, BMW, Lexus and others. Genesis has not only caught the luxury brands with the 2021 G80 they have surpassed them. The G80 has more accessible and useable tech than any other brand but it also is fun drive. And it really doesn't look exactly like all the other cars out there. You really have to see it and take the time to learn about the tech that is included in the G80 to know what it has and what it can mean to make your daily drive more enjoyable and safe. I have seen every review done on this car and I can tell you, not one of the reviewers came close to understanding what this car has to offer. Trust me, go in to a Genesis dealer and ask to see the 'DRONE MODE', or 'AUGMENTED REALITY' or '3D GAUGES' or 'SATELLITE VIEWS' or 'SMART SEAT' or 'BLIND SPOT TURN SIGNALS' or 'AUTO PILOT' and the list goes on and on. This car is flat out a technical marvel and it is fun to drive. There is more I can say, but I will end with, you owe it to yourself to drive the G80 and check it out for yourself.

Genesis G80 is a Technological Marvel

I have owned every luxury brand there is, in some cases multiple examples of Mercedes, Audi, BMW, Lexus and others. Genesis has not only caught the luxury brands with the 2021 G80 they have surpassed them. The G80 has more accessible and useable tech than any other brand but it also is fun drive. And some of these features will absolutely astound you. And add to that, the G80 really doesn't look exactly like all the other cars out there. You really have to see it and take the time to learn about the tech that is included in the G80 to know what it has and what it can mean to make your daily drive more enjoyable and safe. I have seen every review done on this car and I can tell you, not one of the reviewers came close to understanding what this car has to offer. Trust me, go in to a Genesis dealer and ask to see the 'DRONE MODE', or 'AUGMENTED REALITY' or '3D GAUGES' or 'SATELLITE VIEWS' or 'SMART SEAT' or 'BLIND SPOT TURN SIGNALS' or 'AUTO PILOT' and the list goes on and on. When it comes to dealerships, I have known Terry Lee since the 1980's and his dealerships have always been top notch and treat their customers like they would want to be treated themselves. From learning about the car and discovering how it met my needs through to the buying process. The whole experience was first rate. And did I mention this car is a blast to drive! Interestingly when I stop for gas, every time someone says, "Nice car, what is that?"

thoughts on the 2021 g80 genesis

only had it for a month... very pleased with the styling look and the detail with all the technology...... can't wait to take it on a road trip. Love the new platform so far with this model. I wish gas mileage could have been better. I am pleased with 2.5 turbo.... as it is more than enough for my wife.

Great service from your salesman and great car. Loved the look and the performance. Got lucky that the color and style became available. Would recommend the car to anyone that could afford it. Could use a little more room in the back. Traction could have been a little better in the snow.

This vehicle deserves a better dealership experience

I just completed a fairly comprehensive Hyundai survey about my purchase of my G-80 GT5. Previously I owned a 2017 G-80 3.8 and before that an Azerra Limited Edition 2016. All manufactured by Hyundai. I am a retired U. S. Marine Corps Mustang and veteran of the Korean war, Bay of Pigs, and two tours in Vietnam. I taught school for 26 years after retirement and possess a master of science degree in science education. This G-80 is my 44th automobile. I believe I recognize value when it comes around. This vehicle is an ideal driving machine; responsive and well made. I have looked elsewhere but kept returning to the G-80.

My New G80 / Spaceship

I drove a Jaguar for 15 years. I saw a Genesis on highway and didn’t know what it was but I knew it would be my next car. No one could believe I’d leave Jaguar. But 1 1/2 years later I bought a 2018 White Genesis. It gets more looks than the Jaguar. I love the way it drives and how I feel while driving it. It’s distinct.

Only have 250 miles on veh. Still learning all the features.

Have not had veh long enough to find any faults. No problems at this time. 3rd Genesis for this family. That says something!! This survey is asking me to answer questions that I cannot rate less than 10 because of lack of miles on the veh. Still learning about the car. WE HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITHIS G80. Best Car Ever

Fell in love with this car at first site. I normally never care and leave it to my husband to select our cars, but I saw this car in the showroom, the color was beautiful and when I opened the door and saw blue and brown leather interior and the light wood trim I just fell in love.

This Car is Incredible. Period.

To be honest, I wasn't really looking at the Genesis brand initially but a few friends of mine recommended that I drive the G80. Luckily, I had a friend who was a GSM at a dealership and I took a look at it, and honestly, it was love at first drive. The interior styling is minimal but stylish and the infotainment is incredible. The amount of road presence it has is also quite incredible, it's a unique vehicle. In a BMW and Mercedes world, the G80 is a refreshing competitor and worth every penny.

Awesome Vehicle

This is my 3rd Genesis G80, all loaded, top of the line. Premium and now Prestige. They added a lot more to the 2021 Prestige. I’ve leased all, price being a major factor. The 2021 they almost doubled the lease price, MSRP up about 5k with the 4 cyl. I looked at BMW 5 series and Mercedes E-350. Comparable in lease pricing but not nearly as many options. Availability wasn’t as good for the G80. Bottom line, I still loved the G80 and with the help of Cherry Hill Genesis, was able to get the Prestige. Love, Love, Love it!

Another Great Car from the Genesis Brand

This is my third Genesis car in the last six years. I have previously leased a 2015 Hyundai Genesis; a 2018 Genesis G90; and now the 2021 Genesis G80. Each car has been very well made with a great ride and useful luxury and technology features. While the pricing for the new G80 has significantly increased from my last G80, it is still a good value compared to its luxury competition. The only area of concern remains the dealership experience.

Beyond my expectations!!

I'm thoroughly satisfied with the purchase of my Genesis G80. The cars performance surpasses the experience I've had with my last 5 Lexus'. The technology is over the top and the car produces a very comfortable ride. With a V-6 turbo you can expect the power when you need it or just plain want to experience it. In terms of comfort, it's hands down more comfortable than my other cars. I've only owned the car for a month, so I'm still in the discovery stage!!

My 2021 G80

I leased the 2021 Genesis G80. So far I love it and It has certainly met my expectations. My wife has a 2018 Genesis G90, as well as a 2020 Genesis G90, so I was very familiar with the characteristics of the Genesis vehicles. It is getting harder and harder to find great looking, great driving cars. My G80 is both. In addition, Genesis vehicles are absolutely great values. I am just breaking the car in (about 3200 miles), but I am very satisfied. I highly recommend Genesis.

I love my new Genesis G80. It is so well laid out from the technology to the performance, the materials used and the styling. It is clear that attention to detail was first and foremost in the design and production of this vehicle. The driver assist features will not allow this car to become obsolete for years.

This is the finest car I have ever owned. No other car brand can match what you get for your money. The turbo 4 cylinder model provides 300 horse power which is plenty for this vehicle. The interior and exterior styling is superb. The safety features are unparalleled.

My 2021 Genesis

Love this car. Only complaints I have relate to my inability to learn and thus not take full advantage of all the options this vehicle offers. I suppose I'll figure them out over time, but would really have loved a simulator or users class to better be able to fully understand this great car. I love it.

Great car for the money.

This is my second Genesis G80 and I didn't think they could improve on the 2017 that I owned but the 2021 is a much nicer automobile. It is nicer looking, rides better and is much quieter. Overall I think it is the best auto for the money when compared to Audi, BMW and Mercedes.
