2023 Genesis G80

Generally pleased with the vehicle. I had to go to Texas to get rear wheel drive (only AWD sold in Illinois). At time of purchase could not specify features, only buy what was built. Pleased with fuel economy and performance except don't like the turbo lag especially when turning left in front of oncoming traffic. Seat design could be improved; I have trouble with things falling out of my pockets which wasn't a problem with my 2012 Genesis. If in the mode where the engine stoops when the car is stopped the engine has to start/stop many time when there are several cars ahead of you at a stop sign. It is sometimes difficult to look up things on the electronic manual (faster with a paper version).

Have been taken to dealer multiple times because Keep having problem with the aligment ( if sterling wheel straight the car drive to the left. Don’t know if sterling wheel crooked or whatever reason). Bought brand new car but the car keep making a noise like something cracking Everytime reverse or slowly drive on and off to garage side walk. After complained so many times to Dealer but no one would know what happen until the recent visit (8th time) finally a mechanic at least stated that the noise it came from the roof of the car since the car is missing some type of nail and they need to open the whole thing to screw that missing nail in. AC design pretty annoying as it can only point or move at few direction and AC are weak.

Luxurious, reliable, and well styled!

Coming from various bmws, Mercedes, and Audis, Geneiss his a breath of fresh air. They've not only came through with a design language that is distinctly their own, their quality surpasses those of the luxury brand staples.

Traded up from a 2017 G90 to a 2023 G80

I do prefer the all wheel drive on the G80. Some things were better on the G90 and some things are better on the G80. I'm still learning the car. It had 6K miles on it when I purchased it. It only has 9K to 10K now. Just got the oil change reminder. So far it's been perfect, but it's just a baby.

Love everything except noise in rear seat area

Everything about this car is outstanding......except for a very aggravating "popping noise" coming from the rear whenever the car is turning on an incline, like backing out of the driveway. The last time I had it in for service I mentioned the issue to the technician. He said he would look at it, came back to say that he adjusted some things and the popping noise disappeared. That lasted for a few weeks before the noise reappeared and has intensified ever since. This is my second G80. The first, a 2017 model, had absolutely no issues. My hope was that the "upgrade" to the new 2023 would be even better than the prior model. In most respects the '23 is a definite upgrade, but the aggravating rear seat noise is a constant reminder that something is not right with this car.

An Amazing Vehicle - Still Making Us Happy!

The entire driving experience from extreme comfort and luxury feel to "playing" on the backroads and highways in Sport Plus mode. This is honestly the most fun car I have ever owned and with 2 years into our ownership we are still in love with our decision to buy this 2023 G80 Sport Prestige 3.5T. Phenomenal on road trips, so comfortable and arriving relaxed at our destination. The seat massage really assists with that end goal of arriving relaxed and not being stiff from a long day on the road.
