Trader in my Porsche Macan S

The GV 70 Genesis provided much better quality and much better tech than my trade in Macan S. Both cars drove well but the Genesis had a much better design. The interior of the Genesis is far superior to all the others in its class. The warranty is far longer than the competition. Seems almost all the car magazines make the GV 70 their top choice.

Transmission responsiveness needed in 4cyl 2.5T

Overall the vehicle is very good. I think that there are some features that could be improved from the door handles, to steering wheel and back seat space; however in general the vehicle is well thought out and build quality is good. Although I already had a warranty issue and it took too long due to supply issues, the dealer gave me an excellent replacement car, brand new and they always were in contact with me. The customer service given by Keffer Genesis was the reason , I am feeling positive. Turbo lag is an issue with eco mode and it is something that needs fixing and a bit more nervousness applied to transmission. Like a dual clutch feeling. I find the transmission too rubbery and would like more exact shifting you find in German or dual clutch models.

The best

Purchased this new GV70 after seeing one on the road while test driving a different SUV and immediately liked the stylish appearance and size. Decided to test drive this model and was immediately impressed by the ride, comfort,and performance of the vehicle.

GREAT VEHICLE

Thanks for all the attention that GENESIS as a brand is taking with we as customers. The vehicle is excellent in all aspect, that said I would really like a more adjustable suspension in the lower trims with adjustable exhaust in the 4 cylinder variants and staggered setup for wheel and tires combinations.

I Love This Vehicle!

I've leased several Hyundai/Genesis vehicles over the years. This is by-far my favorite. For the first time, I 'built' the vehicle I wanted because I couldn't find the combo of features I desired at any dealership. Very positive experience. I like that I sit high (similar to an SUV) and can see above traffic. It is comfortable and roomy without being oversized.

Love it

So far, overall a great vehicle, but please move up to 22 inch rims or 20 inch rims, the 21's are just an odd tire size to find!!!! We are definitely part of the and always be apart of the genesis family. Cannot wait until the gv90 is released, I may trade this gv70 in for it.

GV70 One Year On

We have 2 GV70s, one for a year and the other for 6 months. Both have the Advance Package. The cars are stylish, comfortable, quiet, handle well and get fairly decent MPG. Reliability has been excellent although you would expect that for a new car. We get lot's of compliments on how the car looks and when we have guests, on how the car drives as well as the interior layout and quality. Would not hesitate to buy one again or recommend the GV70 to someone else.

My Genny Is An Awesome Car

Twelve months and 30,000 miles of trouble free driving pleasure that has exceeded my expectations. I’m so glad there was a vehicle shortage that lead me to Genesis. My Genny is Stylish/sleek inside and out with performance and reliability that I have not experienced from other auto manufactures. Everything has worked as advertised. Other cars, all new, I’ve owned required repair for defect within the first few months and continued throughout ownership of the vehicle. This Genesis, GV70, My Genny has been a DREAM. She is Awesome!

Love this car

Smooth drive and ride, handles great on the highway. When the car is in economy mode, it truly is using low gas. I love the exterior as well as the interior. The looks like I spent over 100,000, but it was much less. I have referred this car to purchase to all my friends

Above the rest

When I say I researched before buying this car, I mean I RESEARCHED before buying this car. Whether it was a Jaguar, Ford, Cadillac, Mercedes, or BMW (in the same price range~$60k), the specs of this car rose above others. This car is an absolute thrill to drive and even after a year, I still get double takes driving around!

Amazing vehicle!

Not sure I believe most of these negative reviews. My experience has been excellent - service has been as great as advertised. No major issues - there have been several rear end/eLSD issues with many of these vehicles but they seem to have sorted it out and once the bad parts are replaced, everything is good. Many people have had issues with service but my experience has been great - pick up my car from home or work, leave me a loaner and return my vehicle when they're done. I had the rear diff go out early on but didn't stop me from driving it and had it all fixed once the part came in a month later. Easy. The vehicle drives great with rear-wheel drive bias, great in the snow with or without snow mode enabled - works just as well as my GMC Sierra 4x4 truck on ice and snow. The infotainment system is amazing - 14.5" screen - wireless AA/Carplay would be nice but I have a wireless adapter for $100 that fixes that issue. The voice recognition system sucks but everything else is great. Adaptive cruise control, the keep-lane assist is very solid, the camera scans traffic signs for construction zone speeds and reminds you in the HUD...very quiet, nice riding vehicle (with 19" wheels) and does absolutely feel like a luxury vehicle! All vehicles have some issues but I haven't come across anything major here so far - have almost 10,000 KM on it now. I suspect some of the reviews come from "badge snobs" ;) No, it isn't a "glorified Hyundai" - Genesis built this from the ground up, leveraging the G70 chassis for the GV70. Great design, great look, great functionality!

I am extremely satisfied with my GV70, between the performance, ride, appearance and the cost of the vehicle they are at the top of their game. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone that is looking for a mid size SUV. Liked it so much my wife bought a G70.

I love the Genesis brand and the quality of their vehicles seems to be very good, this is my second Genesis and Genesis is my vehicle of choice. I think Genesis is going to be one of the top brands that consumers purchase and all I see is them continuing to get better

Well made, great safety features

This car has been well worth the wait and the time and effort that it took to find it. I purchased this car because of the satisfaction my husband has had with his G80. I waited almost two years when the concept was first introduced before production even started. Very difficult to find dealers with even one color to choose from even searching all dealers. Glad I waited.

Good combination of performance styling and comfort

My first Genesis so I was somewhat skeptical about the GV70. Good online reviews and my test drive experience helped me choose it. It has a hatchback functionality, but is sporty and interior features and comfort make it a great combination for empty nester adults. The handling exceeded my expectations. My biggest disappointment is no hybrid was offered. Dealer service for 3 yrs along with the 5 /10 year warranty are major selling points. Lack of local dealership makes future service and maintenance issues a potential problem.

Very satisfied with performance, safety details

Car is a very smooth and quiet riding. Pleased with color interior and exterior. Automatic dimmer is an asset and helpful. Sound system is very good. I get a lot of compliments on the car for the sharp look of exterior and interior. I am very pleased with my 2022 GV70.

Nice car but once you buy, you become invisable and they refuse to help. Just a lot of talk

Not a great company. They do not seem to stand behind their product because they have Hyundai people trying to deal with a higher end car and people who work there sell lower end cars and the 2 just don't mix well . I have been trying to get first oil change for over 6 months now but they are always to busy and are promised someone will call you back. Never happens. Been waiting over 6 months. I call every day

Overall a really great car.

Overall a really great car. Lots of comments from onlookers - all positive. Highly recommended. Downsides/shortcomings: Grille is too large. Highway "hands free" driving needs quite a bit of improvement. System interface to controls needs a lot of improvement. System should connect to airplay wirelessly.

GV 70 2022 rvw

Vehicle is better than I even imagined. All the features make it a little complex and the owners' manual is not easy to use. Mileage is low but that's the tradeoff with fantastic performance, i.e., speed. Recommend without hesitation, would buy again.
