Great car

Great car. Enjoy the ride and great gas mileage. Overall very happy! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a midsized SUV. Have only put 10k miles on this vehicle in 2 yrs. But every mile has been fun! Great radio and speakers. Very quiet ride for a midsize.

Great car

After two years I have had zero negative issues. Ordinarily I would cancel my review if required to complete a specified number of words. This is filling in space as I have a few moments to spare. It is worthless if your review is forced. Good luck with others.

Love the car, poor dealer experience

Having owned luxury cars for years, I find the dealer experience terrible. The sales person knew nothing about the car . Nobody went over the operating function of the car and the finance manager raised the price in the paperwork. I have always had a better experience at Lexus and Mercedes.

Genesis GV70 SUV

Overall a great SUV. It’s very comfortable and reliable. I usually trade every 1-2 years but I won’t be trading this vehicle. Goal is paying it off. As a travel nurse it’s been a great SUV to travel in through different weather with no issues. I get a lot of compliments on my vehicle. I love how you have a high end look without the cost of a high end vehicle. Highly recommend the Genesis gv70.

Fantastic drive, comfort, performance, and style are wonderful.

Could use a little bigger gas tank. This vehicle has the performance level I was looking for and the comfort for long drives. I wanted a vehicle that stood out from the crowd and not just another cookie cutter SUV. My wife’s car she had years ago was a 2004 Infinity FX35 that definitely stood out. Our Genesis brings that same feeling.

Too many quality issues to give a good rating

This is a beautiful looking and driving car however the downside almost from day one multiple rattles from driver and passenger door and sunroof on the interior. Lane assist with the cruise control on the highway is extremely annoying because it bounces left and right left and right constantly to the point where it is best not to use assist. When at a traffic light sometimes the front sensor gives a warning and the video monitor turns on for no reason when the car is not moving. The latest problem is the trim around the windows of the doors are fading and looking horrible and this is a car that stays in the garage all day. This car is not parked outside in the sun making the car look horrible now.

Great driving experience

After test driving a Maserati Levante (my first option) and being somewhat disappointed, I turned to trying GV70; not only it surpassed my expectations, it turned out to be more powerful for the comparable trim, much more user friendly, better interior design and more spacious. It was also 2/3 the price of Maserati. Love the comfort and the smooth ride; the sportiness of the drive is great. It has so many technological features that satisfies the current contemporary nedds and wants.

My GV70 is a very well built vehicle. It far exceeds my expectations in so many ways. The styling is supreme and a head turner. The comfort and performance are top notch. Performance wise with the 3.5 V6 twin turbo engine, it is very aggresive with acceleration. Handling is very predictable and with the safety technology it is very reassuring. The ride comfort is VERY enjoyable with an excellent climate control systems, sounds system and more. Braking is very strong and handling is easy.

Style, class and performance in one package

The Genesis GV70 has something that is special, that is that it doesn’t have any one feature that is jaw dropping, but when put together it is awesome. The look, the interior design, the performance and the quality of the fit and finish, just make it very difficult to find another vehicle that gives all of the same features at a similar price. I love the car!!

Genesis greatest Hit

One of the best looking vehicles on the road and in MY OPINION the best one Genesis makes. Purchased in 2021 and so far to date there hasn’t been any major problems or issues. Drives like my previous G70 with the same sport prestige package, just taller.

Unsafe vehicle

The suv cuts out on roadways and shuts off completely in traffic. Decelerating and accelerating without warning. I safe vehicle. At dealership for another three weeks without any communication. Corporate no help

My GV70

I have taken many out-of-town trips with this car. I enjoyed the car. I was very happy with the overall performance. Leg room in the back needs to be improved as well as storage. But I love the GV70. A very nicely equipped car at less price and more bells and whistles than their competitors.

Horrible customer service. The car doesn’t get fixed!

You need to help your customers because I make sure I tell everyone about the crappy service. Wish I would have stayed with my Lexus. I could have 100k miles and things would be taken care of better than if I had 100 miles on a new Genesis!

Would not recommend

I would not recommend buying from Genesis. They don’t care about their customers. 3 month wait for oil changes is ridiculous. Any problem I have they dismiss it and say it’s fine there is nothing wrong. I should of stayed with my Lexus they take care off their customers!

It’s been an unreliable and unsafe car

Unsafe car Car cuts out while driving. Decelerates constantly and makes it difficult to drive. Second repair car operated even worse. Poor customer service and no response from Case manager. It’s a bureaucratic system l.

AC broken after two years

Air conditioning has malfunctioned since 7/27/2023. I have contact Genesis since that day and has been told that there is no technician available to fix the AC until September. I was told that they are trying to escalate the issue, however, no progress has been made in the past 12 days. I live in Texas and has been driving my care with no AC. I have two young children and it has been the most unbearable experience. I am willing to pay out of pocket to get it fixed by an outside mechanic, but I was told by Genesis that my warranty will be voided if done so. I asked for a loner car but was told that none is available. I have had the most terrible experience with my Genesis. I have been getting the run-around. I strongly believe that this is the worst way to perform business. A promise was made to me when I purchased this car. Genesis is not able to stand by their commitment.

Checks all the boxes.

This car is everything I needed and wanted it to be. It's safe, easy to drive, beautiful and comes with a spare tire which most cars in this class don't carry anymore! I love the simplicity of the interior design and how heavy it is. I unfortunately had a deer jump from a hill right onto my hood when I first bought it and the car took all the impact which was enormous! Since the car was so new at that time, it did take a long time to get the replacement parts but that was also during the covid/supply chain issue days.

Impressive styling and performance

Still love driving my 2022 GV70 after more than two years following its purchase in the summer of 2021. The vehicle’s overall styling and performance are both superb. I opted for the twin-turbo V6 engine and I love the pier and acceleration when I punch the gas pedal, although the gas mileage isn’t so good when having fun with my GV70 (still get 25 mpg on the highway). Like I said, still love my GV70 two years into ownership.

I ENJOY THE DESIGN OF BOTH INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR AND THE PERFORMANCE IS EXCELLENT. THE ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS ARE NOT WELL BUILT AS NUMEROUS GLITCHES INTERMITTENTLY KEEP POPPING UP. GENESIS DEALERS HOULD BE REQUIRED TO HAVE SEPARATE GENESIS SERVICE AREAS FROM OTHER BRANDS AND LOANER CARS SHOULD BE STANDARD. I HAD AN ACURA FOR THE LAST 12 YEARS AND HAD EXCELLENT SERVICE. THEY UNDERTSOOD THE “LUXURY” NATURE OF THE BRAND OVER HONDA BUT GENESIS DOES NOT UNDERSTAND THAT. HYUNDAI OUGHT TO BE SEPARATE. SERVICE AND SALES. GENESIS VEHICLES COST SUBSTANTIALLY MORE AND THAT SHOUD BE REFLECTED IN THE EXPERIENCE. THE MOST LIKELY REASON I WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER GENESIS IS THE LOCAL DEALER AND I AM NOT CLOSE ENOUGH TO ANOTHER DEALER TO HAVE AN OPTION.

It was worth the wait!

I love my Genesis. Highly recommend. It’s been great and I’m really enjoying it. The ride is smooth. The look is luxurious. I get asked all the time by strangers - what is is and if I like it. It responds quickly; has an incredible turning radius compared to my prior SUV.
