Beautiful but could be better

I’m often stopped by people who love the Beaty of my GV80 and when asked whether I like my vehicle I say yes. But, it could be better. I need more room in the center console. I’m embarrassed that adults have no leg room in the back seat. It’s not the vehicle of choice for long trips when there are more than two adults. One suggestion I have: can you program the car seat to recognize Driver 1 and 2 and automatically adjust the seat when they sit down?

Just a few recommendations

I love my GV80 however, I have one issue that could be improved upon. The rear seats need additional padding as they are hard and uncomfortable.

Innovative luxury SUV that won’t break the bank

The Genesis GV80 has surpassed my expectations. Trading in a 2021 Lincoln Corsair and a 2019 Genesis G90, the GV80 has matched many of the luxury touches of the G90 while providing the utility of a SUV. It compares very favorably to a friend’s BMW X5. I’m very happy with my purchase for a wide range of reasons.

Great car but lack of car play is infuriating

Great car, huge dash screen however car play is wired connection that frequently disconnects. For such a high end car to have to rely on navigation by hand is insane

Good marketing on an average Luxury vehicle

Seats are hard to adjust. Ride is somewhat firm, and some adjustable. Engine shudders in the first mile every morning.

We have been very happy with this car and believe it represented a good value. We had originally been looking for a Mercedes E class SUV, but chose the Genesis because it offered far more within the base price and was a good value.

Good vehicle overall

I like the basic vehicle, some challenges and top of my list is poor support when you do not live near a Genesis dealer, that alone would cause me to not purchase it again. I have had a number of challenges with the driver assist modes, in several instances it nearly caused an accident, by over-riding my actions, when I was fully aware of what was around me. Another thing to consider from a design perspective, is that at certain sun angles, the chrome console section reflects the sun light and makes it very difficult to see. Lastly I have had multiple issues where I needed to do a software restart, my main display screen went dark, had to use the software reset to get it back
