General review

Nice ride and what we expected from a luxury car. What we did not expect was $1500 in “recommended” maintenance at the second service interval. If all the recommended are required, we bought the wrong car—fuel injector cleaning, intake cleaning, all wheel alignment, etc. The car is fine and it seems like a new revenue stream versus required.

An exceptional design and comfort.

Overall, this is an amazing vehicle. Top notch in all areas. Though does have a couple noticeable issues. 1. Hesitation on acceleration and 2. When using the auto engine off feature, upon starting back up, the sound system cuts out and can only be heard in a couple of speakers. This is very brief but is very noticeable.

Nice ride

great except for the glitchy sound system. Dont know if it is the software, the bluetooth, the wifi or what. Neither does the dealer. Airplay just cuts out sometimes.

The cars CVT transmission is not smooth at all in fact it’s the opposite. It is very clunky.

We love our 2024 Genesis GV80.

Our 2024 Genesis GV80 is everything we wanted it to be and more. This is our second Genesis purchase after owning a 2015 Sedan for ten years. There is something about the Genesis' construction that is distinctive in its ride and handling. You can feel and hear the sound dampening immediately when you enter and close the door. This quiet environment continues as you drive the vehicle. This vehicle also has an extremely comfortable and stable feel as you drive it. I describe it as the "Genesis Feel". Once you've driven a Genesis for a period of time, you begin to notice how other luxury vehicles don't measure up when you ride in them. The styling of a Genesis is also unique and has just a little more bling or wow factor compared to other luxury SUVs. Many of the standard options and technology enhancements in our 2015 Genesis are just starting to be included in current makes/models of other car manufacturers. Genesis has always been on the leading edge of safety and technology options in its vehicles. This is why when we wanted to replace our 2015 Genesis Sedan with an SUV, we decided to purchase the new 2024 Genesis GV80. We've been extremely satisfied with owning each of them.

Love driving it in sport mode. Don't like the automatic shut off at traffic lights when I forget to push the button that turns that feature off.

This is a beautifully ride. It’s roomie in back as well.

I did research on luxurious SUVs ratings for safety, liability, and maintenance free vehicle. and Genesis was number one. I’ve never even heard of Genesis before until I started to do this research then on Good Morning America I saw that Genesis was the number one safety.

Most disappointing vehicle I’ve ever owned

Absolute worst seats of any car I’ve ever driven in this type of class. Uncomfortable can’t drive more than an hour and a half have yet to take it on a trip. Gas mileage is atrocious.

2024 GV 80 Prestige Review

I have owned my car for a year, and during that time, I have not had any mechanical problems. However, I found it to be the easiest car to drive I have ever owned. It does have a few items that are not ideal for a luxury car. One item is the seats, which are not plush for a luxury car. The seat's appearance is great, but it lacks comfort on a long trip. Wind noise can be heard around the doors as you drive, but it does not leak into the inside. The phone charger inside the tray is on a slant, and the phone can get hot while charging.
