Love My Genesis GV80

The GV80 drives so smoothly and feels really solid on the road. The interior quality is heavenly - super comfortable and luxurious. I’m especially impressed with the updated long screen and all the features it packs in. Most importantly, I feel really safe driving it which gives me a lot of peace of mind.

Weird Issue with Electronics

With a brand new car, I shouldn't have any electronic issues but I do. Other than a few minor things that bug me, I love the vehicle and find it to be my favorite car to drive (we have 7 vehicles).

Some tech needs improvement. "Eyes on Road" a tad too sensitive. Wearing Ray Bans looking directly ahead triggers alert.

Good car with nice appointments and some good tech

The styling is very nice and some interior appointments make it feel like a true luxury vehicle but the tech could be better. Even though it is packed with some great tech, a lot of times it is not working as intended.

Not Dependable

This is my 4th Genesis. I have loved the cars and the brand. Unfortunately this last GV80 has had two blown engine gaskets under 10K miles. The car has shut off at stop lights. Like the car starting beeping and I had to turn the entire engine on again. I think I bought a lemon. I hope Genesis backs me up on this.

Great vehicle, but Tech has glitches

This is my 3rd model Genesis I had a 2019 GV70 for 1 year, a 2022 G 80 for a little over 3 years and now I have a 2025 GV80 a little over three months. I can't say I love the car, but I like the brand a whole helluva lot. They're just different and unique. I would've rated it 5 star and excellent however my shortcomings are with all the tech. It's a great riding, looking and driving vehicle, but not being a very tech savvy individual I believe several of all the tech features are working inconsistently (sometimes work accordinfly, sometimes not the way they should). All in all, it's by far the best vehicle I've ever driven and I've had a few very high quality automobiles.
