If I could, give it a "no star" rating

I want to give it a better rating that my title suggests, for things like comfort, drive-ability and style, however..... I have had nothing but problems with this car. Piston rings went out, floorboard floods in heavy rain, and the air actuator is going out. These issues have been such a huge pain in the rear for the last 6 months. New "recalls" come out periodically on this vehicle. I would recommend doing all your research on other GMC owners before buying one of their vehicles... Then I'd go get a Honda or something....

Worst vehicle ever

I have never owned a vehicle with so many problems. I’ve had it a little over a year and the motor has already blew in it, check engine light won’t stay off after being worked on several times, and it’s gutless (4 cylinder) on the highway. I’d never own one again and honestly can’t wait to get rid of this one now.

Terrain

I love the vehicle but there are several issues that need to be recalled. The timing chain broke at 60k miles and now the engine is burning oil faster than usual. Also, never shop Doan dealers!

GMC Terrain

The SUV offers a nice smooth ride.. takes off after 1-2 seconds of accelerating.Altho the mileage on the vehicle was extremely I have faith the vehicle will last for a long length of time being that GMC And holds up to its name.

Ok

It’s ok. Ivy had it for about 3years and I’ve enjoyed it. Even with the small problems I’ve had with it I still enjoy it. My daughter drives it when she goes n her trips with her friends I don’t have 200 characters to put on here. Sorry

to many things go wrong

it seems that this vehicle has parts in it that always goes wrong and has to be relaced number of times, I cant beleive that a vehicle like this should have to always go in for service a number of times.

Safe and Dependable

I love my terrain what I don't like about it is the plastic on the bottom of the doors that holds in water and rots my doors and rots down to the average area of my car it may look nice but its impractical

Review

We love it in the snow she is a beast, the real only issue is the transmission cooling lines that leak. Other then spark plugs and regular maintenance she has been very dependable, the comfort as far as the ride goes can a little better.

I bought it used.

I bought it used and have had to do some repairs. But I love this vehicle. It is good looking inside and out. I would buy a new one or another GMC. It is very smooth on the road. Everyone that has been in my vehicle has said that they like it.

2011 GMC Terrain AWD

I bought this vehicle 4 years ago. It was a lease car so it was in near perfect condition. Soon after my purchase, I discovered it was under recall. I took it to the dealer and they did a complete engine rebuild. Took a week. It performs admirably.
