reliable car for someone looking for a car to maybe fix up, and has no kids or planning to have any and looks nice. Pretty basic features. I was back and forth between this or the 2018 Volvo SUV which of course I now wish I got instead. I wish I had someone review the paperwork before I signed for it. Also should have had a mechanic look it over prior and pulled up the carfax reports myself. If gotten from a good dealership would have been an easy car to sell. Will end up needing to eat the 4k I was scammed for when I try to trade it in or sell (again.)

Automatic break system should not be installed in manual shift vehicle. TPMS always has issues (indicates tire pressure is low, does not provide pressure, when checked manually pressure is within acceptable range). Frequently go to Honda to recalibrate TPMS. System not resolved. Have talked to other accord owners on same issue.

Great car
I am very pleased, it has many high tech features, collision avoidance, lane departure warning, road departure, blind spot notification, adaptive cruise control. Handling and performance is exceptional. The accord is a pleasure to drive, very comfortable, the dead peddle is the most comfortable I've ever experienced. Visibility is nice, the A pillar does not obstruct one's view on turns.

Honda owner for life
I bought a used 2010 Accord LX in 2011, put 230k miles on it then traded it in for a certified pre-owned 2019 Accord LX in early 2020. I will be a Honda owner for life based on how well these cars have performed and lasted. Low maintenance costs and they really hold their value. I do my own oil changes and the 2019 is easier to do than the older model. I use full synthetic oil and get 40 mpg on the freeway driving 65 mph. MPG drops about 10-15% going up mountains but I get that loss back on the way down. Front seats in the 2019 are superior to the 2010, with far better back support. The 2019 does sit lower to the ground and so are the front seats which can be an issue with older persons with weaker legs as you drop down into your seat. I’ve read reviews where there are complaints about the power for the 1.5L turbo 4-cylinder engine, but I’ve never had an issue getting on the freeway or passing even with 3 adults in the car; turbo kicks in quickly and away I go.
