Best vehicle on the road

I am a Senior Citizen and wanted a vehicle that would be safe in all weather conditions and handling on the road - this is the vehicle that can do all that and more. I can haul tons of stuff, help move people and get whatever I buy in my vehicle (except large furniture). I love this vehicle and love the way it handles, turning radius, parking, speed, terrain, rain, snow, ice, mileage, and getting in and out of easily.

2009 CRV

Overall, the best vehicle we have owned and we have been driving for over 40 yrs. Happy with the mileage, ride, reliability and toys. The worst for us is it does have more than its share of road noise on the hwy. Ours has a moon roof that when opened made a loud wind tunnel inside the cab. We installed a spoiler that corrected this.

Good Looking and Fun Car to Own

My CRV is the greatest and a lot of fun to drive. I've never had any problem with it and I've always maintain the service records through Ron Tonkin. I love to sit a little higher than a sedan and enjoy the mileage I gotten. I would love to have some of the new features available since my CRV is a 2009 but maybe in time.

2009 CRV

I've enjoyed the versatility and reliability of the CRV. I would buy it again until I learned the new ones are larger so, when at the Dealers yesterday I checked the HRV. My Granddaughter just bought a new Fit at Lynnwood Honda and I liked it, but it sat a little too low. I think my next car may be the HRV. However, I'm in no hurry as my "09 is running just fine with not too many miles on it.

Great car !

Having owned several cars in the past , I really enjoy my CRV. It is easy to handle, has good gas mileage , roomy seating capacity and great storage space in rear . I would definitely buy another CRV if in the market for a new car .

09 Honda CR-V

For a car that had 106K when I purchased it. It drives like a new car. 1. It suits my requirements as far as cargo and utility go. Great for our golf clubs and carts. We have taken several long trips of several hundred miles and the comfort and handling are exceptional. 2. has plenty of power going through the mountains and passing. 3. I'm a little disappointed with the gas mileage. I get in the low 20s and I get in the mid 30 with my KIA Sportage. However, the Sportage does not have 4 wheel drive. I like the Honda on the highway because it's much quieter then the Sportage. Much less road noise. Overall, I give the CR-V 5 stars. It's really a car that fills all my needs. The next one will have a few extras like rear camera, GPS, Elect drivers seat. roof rack to name a few. Great car, I'd buy another one.

Honda CRV 2009 Review

My CRV is a great oiled machine! It's very dependable, easy on my pocket book to drive, gets good gas mileage and is comfortable. The AWD is wonderful and I've never had a problem getting around in the bad weather. I love sitting a little higher than a sedan and will never go back to one. My grandchildren love to hear the door locks as I speed up. Even though I don't have a lot of miles on it 33,500, I did buy it new and know when I'm ready to sell it or trade it in , it will hold it's value.

Best Car

I've had two Honda CRV's & my next one will be one also. Being older, I love the ease of getting in & out of the car. Plus I like sitting up a little higher on the roadway for better visibility. The continued improvements in the CRV make it my car of choice.

2009 CR-V has lost amenities that can't be found anywhere

I'm serious. It seems the current trend in all new automobiles is to copy whatever the supposed trend is and they are all the same. This is sad that our choices have diminished when choosing a new car. This year CR-V has two items that can't be found anywhere. First, I love the space between the console and the dash. This gives me a place to put a purse or my laptop or even be able to reach over to the floor space on the passenger side easier. All new cars out there seem to think everyone needs a closed in bucket seat. Number two is most important. The CR-V has a hard-shelf in the back. It folds up or you can just put it on the floor when not using but I can't think of a time I did not use. If you have a family and are purchasing groceries or travel or put a walker/wheelchair or anything at all. This gives you a perfect shelf for transporting items. That soft shelf they put on cars now is just plain crazy. If anyone knows of these items in a newer car I'd be interested...especially number 2!!!
