MY C R V

I really should have read about HONDA before I purchased one. Instead I relied on someone else's review. If I could trade it for another vehicle, I WOULD.

Lots of issues

I bought a Honda for reliability but it has transmission issues that other owners expressed the same problem. The A.C. doesn't keep up with Florida Summer temps. Rattles over bumps and has a lot of wind noise. No where near the quality of my RAV 4.

Battery issues and much lower mileage than advertised

If you drive in the city avoid this car, it barely gives me 17 miles per gallon ( a truck 2016 f150 gives 19 mpg). When it was new I started getting battery issues and called the Honda customer service- my car stalled because of the dead battery - they were nonchalant and said that they would not cover the towing expense( which is more expensive then the battery) Paid $27000 for the car what a joke.

Reliable and holds it's value well. Period.

I miss my Toyota. This CR-V is bumpy, noisy, & cramped with a difficult to use sound system and an easily soiled interior.

Cold start engine noise

I bought my crv new in Monroeville. My car has a horrible noise when started in cool or cold weather! In fact it’s embarrasing! I took it to the dealer multiple times and they claim it cannot be fixed! Really? I then wrote a letter to corporate and they never responded. I then called and spoke to WALTER and he said it’s not hurting anything and I had to deal with it! I asked for his last name and he refused! I will never buy from valley Honda or any other Honda again. Very very poor service.

My car

I like my vehicle its versatile and reliable. I've used it to transport various items and materials for home repairs. I use it whenever I take my grandchildren to the shore. There's plenty of room and storage, and they're all comfortable while we're traveling. I really like my CRV!

Average car

Nothing special about this car. Has a tremor at low speeds which no one can figure out. Good gas mileage. Reliable transportation for the price. Older people seems to like it because of ease of getting in and out. Probably never buy a Honda again.

Wonderful car

I love the ease of driving, the ease of getting in and out of the driver's seat. I love having a easy car to maintain. It is comfortable for back seat passengers and has a generous cargo area. I love telling people who ask me how I like my CRV: "I love it!"

Great small SUV with very few minor problems

We downsized from an Odyssey to the CR-V; the Odyssey cannot be beat for comfort, ride, and functionality, but as a daily driver, it is just too big. The CR-V is more practical, but suffers slightly from its size: both people in the front cannot fasten their seat belts at the same time without running into each other, the seats are not as comfortable as the Odyssey's (O gets and A; CR-V gets a B+). Second row in O has captain's chairs; CR-V's are okay, but not the same. We shopped all competing compact SUVs and found that the CR-V beat the rest of them in comfort and utility.

CRV Service

Excellent car however, when accelerating uphill after stopping, the transmission shifts in a peculiar way as if struggling to find correct gear, sometimes even "slips" !

Nice comfortable car, great all purpose SUV

This is a great commuter car and an all around nice small SUV. You were not going to be pulling a boat with it but that's not it's purpose. Very comfortable even for a taller driver. Nice economy for all wheel drive. Very good on snowy and slick roads. Interior and controls are very nicely done. I'm giving this for stars because of the slight lack of power that it could have and annoying post cold start grinding noise from the Vtc actuator.

Best vehicle I have ever owned

The overall design and all the extra features of this, my first Honda, are fabulous! And in talking with other CR-V owners, I am optimistic that it will last far longer than my previous vehicles (none of which made it to 200K miles).
