For me, it's the ultimate sports car for short-range driving. That's why it was created, and that's why I bought it. I have a more versatile cross-over for everyday driving. Shopped Boxters, Z4s, SLK 350s, TTs, 350Zs & Miatas, but they're all too effete. I can't fit into a Lotus, and if I could, it would beat me up too much. S2000 is the real deal... simply beautiful, with clean, taut lines; thrilling power when you turn up the revs, with matching sound track; impeccable handling; modest weight; smooth, powerful brakes; driver-centric instrumentation; Honda's famous quality and reliability. Track-ready... and yet, surprisingly supple ride. No options to buy... superb close-ratio 6-speed, limited slip, HID headlights, perforated-leather seats, staggered wheels and tires... all standard equipment. My favorite features: power, looks, steering, handling, gearbox, ride, quality. Uncommon. No poseur! Reliable... it's a Honda!

Honda S2000 2006

Even after 6 years of ownership, every time I get in my car I am smiling. This car handles very well, has excellent acceleration and has the sweetest sound running up to 7,000 RPM. This car still has great style and looks as good as anything on the road costing many thousands more. It is a keeper, and has been a very low cost car to own.

Great car

I feel for a sports car the Honda S2000 is hard to beat. Although it possess good power and performance it is reliable ( I have owned my car for nearly 8 years with no problems) , is economical and is a good looking car. It also holds it value (check on line---you'll see.
