Well rounded vehicle

I have driven this car for a while and have seen ups and downs pros and cons. I would say for someone who had no car experience I've had my share of problems and achievments in repairing this vehicle myself! I love this car and couldn't think of a more flexible company to work with when having car trouble.

Our reliable Accent

With 118,850 miles on our Accent we finally had to get brakes. I have never had a car go that long without needing brakes.

Good car, fun to drive, economical.

I like this car, bought it used after my 2004 got crushed. It's a little taller and has more room in the passenger compartment so better for taller people. The down side is the room got taken up by making the trunk space smaller. I'm short so between the 2 I liked the 20004 better. Lower center of gravity so handled turns better and I need more room in the trunk then in the passenger compartment, but that's just me.

Cheap reliability

Cash for clunkers purchase no major repair, electrical coil went out at 69,000 miles had domestic spark plugs in it. so they were previously changed during recall service. Now I know why breaklight recall took 1hr and a half. Didn't come with OEM spark plugs. But its running.

Bought it new after long time researching other similar cars. Thought is was going to be of good quality; I was not disapointed. The car has performed flawlessly for many years with minor, regular check ups. I bought another Hyundai car, recently, due my good experience with this 2009 car.

Snow

This is not a car that is good in the snow. It is great with gas but if you need to travel a lot for work and tou live in a place that gets snow I would not recommend this car. Also not good on hills in snow. Good thing is it does have side airbags.

Buy from Bowders and be Hyundai Happy.

I truly LOVE my 2009 Hyundai Accent. February 2009, after my third caner surgery my family felt I needed a newer car. (I had a 1991 Ford Escort) So being an Senior Citizen I used the Internet. I was hooked on Hyundai Accent. My daughter and son-in-law brought me to B owners and there set the exact vehicle I had studied on the Internet. I took it our for test drive and of course, I was sold. My family than decide maybe I should look at some others, wedded. NO WAY was I interested.A salesman tried to talk me into a four door, larger vehicle, He said you may want to have passengers with you, I told him "they can get in the back seat". I HAPPILY GOT MY HYUNDAI ACCENT. THANKS AND PRAISE TO DEAR GOD.

Great small car

We are very pleased with our 2009 Hyundai Accent. It is an excellant vehicle we purchased new and we have had no maintenance issues with it all this time. We keep the regular maintenance items up to date and this car serves us very well. We use this car mainly around our community and use our 2011 Hyndai Sonata for road trips. These are are third and fourth Hyundais we have owned. We also get great service at the service department at our Hyundai dealership. We highly recommend a Hyundai to anyone looking for a new vehicle.!
