Would not get this car again. Not enough power, but it is a small car. Will go back to a small SUV when my lease is up

it could be better. in my opinion but still a nice car.

love the car except that there is (no roof rack with crossbars.) also it would be nice if there was a 2 cd changer. love the steering wheel controls. its simple and easy. love the fog lights. the first aid kit is a waste of money. the storage box in between the seats could be 1 inch longer. hard to put in music cds. a built in cam to record both front and back of the car with easy chip take out would be great. owell. over all its a nice but could be better. also it would be great if it came in zombie green/black. lol

I previously owned the Elantra GT sport it had really comfortable leather seats the seats now are very uncomfortable and the fabric stains very easily even with just water on the seats it stains

The gas milage is not as great as the buyers guard stated Also the car is horrible in the snow.

You would not believe the things I have loaded into this car there is a lot of room it takes very little money to fill gas tank very comfortable to drive I just love it

Update

I just feel like for a 2014 car it could have more interior updates. For example, my boyfriend has a 2012 Malibu and it has touch screen, better safety and gas saving gadgets. Safety gadgets meaning my car has low tire pressure warning but his tells you exactly what side or tire it is. His brother’s 2010 Tahoe even tells him. By the way my boyfriend’s Malibu is a 4 cylinder as well as mine. It’s like why does my car seem like it’s a 2008 model. There’s nothing special about other than the Bluetooth, but who car doesn’t have Bluetooth these days.

Good little car

For the price, my 2014 Hyundai Accent has been a good little car. Most of my driving is on surface streets and the gas mileage is still pretty good. Back seat leg room is minimal. Trunk storage area is adequate for the size of the car. I have only 18,000 miles on this car but so far I have had no mechanical problems.

2014 Hyundai Accent Hatchback

Great car for road trips. Did some car camping......A little cramped especially with gear...... Great with long highway trips getting approximately 35mpg. The dis-advantages are very poor turning ratio. Suspension is somewhat weak especially on pot holes. Road noise is noticeable on grated grain roads that are not paved for highway driving. The automobile is too short. Needs higher wheel base. Other then that all is well. Hyundai seriously needs to improve the Accent Hatchback. Seriously....!!

VEHICLE REVIEW

This is not the vehicle for me, but at the time of purchase it was the only one for my pocket book. I am very pleased with the MPG on/with it though, I am aware that I went from a Ford Explorer down to this type/size.

Electrical issues

I received this car in 2017 with 82,000 miles. I love its size and it hugs the road well. It’s a nice little car. However, I lost AC within a few years. It was fixed for awhile but doesn’t work again and the Emissions light goes on and off. The emissions test is fine but it’s another electrical problem. Also I had the recalls done, especially the one where your car can be stolen. But Hyundai didn’t have the part to fix it!!! Instead they give you a club to lock your steering wheel. So now I’m stuck using that thing. It’s a no frills car that runs very well and also has electrical issues.

Nice Car!!!

I'm happy w/the car overall!!! I got this car as I was in a BIG bind!!! I SADLY trashed my other H-Accent on black ice!!! After knowing I came out of the accident w/o a bump, bruise, scrape or any other physical issues, and ONLY SADLY, a car TOTALLY TRASHED, I opted to go for another Accent!!! How could I NOT??? If you saw the other Accent I walked away from w/OUT any physical discomfort, I FELT SAFE in my Small compact car!!! The 2014 is NICE and COMFORTABLE and feels MORE roomy inside then my '08 was! There are "little things" in it that are much nicer.....probably b/c it's an upgraded model! I only need a car to get me around so I am happy w/this one! I do like the comfort in it and feel the seats are more comfortable then in the '08. The drivers side mirror has a smaller "mirror" on it so you have more visibility of other cars closer and further away. The '14 is a bit more sporty then the '08 was as well. It seems the '14 is more roomy on the inside. I don't know much of mechanics so I can't rate that end of it. I just know my other was trashed and I GOT OUT OF IT VERY SAFE!!!! And w/that happening, I opted to get another H-Accent. I felt the deal I got, as I got a retail value for the '08 vs. book, I ended up coming out a bit ahead on things. So for opting to get new. Had this not happened, I'd have not been able to do it. Overall I am very happy w/it so far. This car is NICER looking in appearance than my '08 Accent. The gas mileage is SUPER w/it!!! Seems like I don't hardly ever even fill up!!! I like the fact that the odometer tells you about how many miles you have to go before you run out of gas!!! That's a GREAT thing for me!!! LOL

Good value for money

Very pleased with my Accent. Great mileage, and it's surprisingly peppy. Also, very stylish. Plenty of space in the hatchback. The stereo system is sub-par.

Hyundai 2014 review

Love it and the color. But wish it Sat a little higher and that the passenger front seat had adjustable height also. Had only one month and front bumper scraped coming out of a high dip driveway even at an angle.

My 2014 Hyundai Accent

I love my Hyundai Accent. I thought it would get better gas mileage, it does not get what I was told. Also, I had another Hyundai 2012 before this one (bought brand new) and both cars have had to have the front bumper and parts underneath. (cost around 700.00 to fix) I have had a LOT of new cars and have never had this problem before. But other than that, I am happy with my car.
