I will buy another

I love Hyundai cars this is my 4th Hyundai and I still love them. The Accent is the most fun to drive of all the cars. Fits in almost any parking space but still has room for legs in the back and Costco trips!! My only complaint with the car is the fuel pump makes a noise. Is has since I got it and they said it is "one of those things" with this car but I don't like it. Other than that its perfect.

Overall satisfaction

Only thing I do not like about the vehicle is it is hard to look out tbe rearview window because of the way it is designed. I had the headrests in tbe back seats removed so I could see better when backing up.

I love my 2014 Accent sedan. This car is perfect for me, a retired petite woman who takes my mom shopping and travels to visit relatives in and out of state. Last trip from Pennsylvania to Atlanta the car got 43 mpg and kept up with the traffic on the interstates. Enough room for the stuff i carry, too. If only - - this car came equipped (not an add-on) with a spare tire! I punctured the sidewall of the passenger-side front tire when i hit a high curb - - and no amount of Fix-a-flat is going to repair that! So i had to call the Hyundai roadside assistance number - -and although the service was friendly, it wasnt fast - - i lost the best part of a day before a tow truck towed my car to a dealership where i had to buy a new tire and have it installed. I travel alone at all hours of the day and night and just dont want to be at the mercy of strangers if i get stranded with a flat. For cryenoutloud, put a spare tire as standard equipment in every car!!

Great car but issue with power steering

I had my Accent for over 3 years when I started to have issues with the power steering. it has been a year since this started and my car has been in the shop 3 times for the same problem. The power steering indicator will light up on the dashboard and in a few minutes the power steering will be pretty much locked up. The dealership I have been working with has been very helpful but each time they have to contact Hyundai in order to try and figure out what is causing it..I just got my car back the week after Christmas 2017 and I hope this problem has been permanently fixed.. Other than that my Accent has been a great car. Great gas mileage and comfortable to drive without killing your wallet. I would recommend this car to anyone.

Surprised Owner

I was in a position that forced me to get another vehicle. After driving a SUV (bought new) for over 11 years, this was a BIG adjustment. The type, size or color were not what I was looking for but now I am pleased with all three. I used to say I Love my Saturn but now I say I Love my Accent.

love my hyundai accent

I had a Toyota corolla and the engine went. I got a Honda Accord and the transmission went. I then got a Buick LaSabre that ended up in the shop several times when I traded it in it still had the same starting issues that I had just paid 450.to fix . The corolla lasted me 5 years,the Honda 2 years, and the Buick maybe 3 years. All 3 cars I had hoped to go 300,000 miles and didn't even make 200,000 on any. All three were big disappointments. I've only had my hyundai accent for four months, so far I'm loving it. It fits me so good. The seating and the seat belt ( most seat belts go across my neck). So far the only thing I don't like is the blind spot on passenger side. I'm 57 and have driven so many different cars and never really had an attachment to any, something about this hyundai accent I love, not quite sure why but I do. I actually keep it clean and washed! I have high hopes this will be the one to get me to 300,000.

Nice ride

I've only had my accent for a couple of months but I can't complain about the drive though it's a really nice car and affordable I like my car and would recommend it to anyone. Especially to a younger new driver or a older individual.

Vehicle

I do not care for the back window area of this vehicle. I had the head rests in back seat taken off as it is very difficult to see when trying to back up. Did not have thiz problem with my prior Hyundai. Unsure what could be done to improve the rear view area.

Accent sedan GLS

I bought this car new off the floor Dec of 2013 for doing a lot of traveling for my job. The Accent gets better gas mileage than listed and expected at 41.4 average hiway averaging 72 mph. It has plenty of trunk space for a 12 qt cooler, winter bibs,jacket extra large rubber over boots and a back pack with enough clothes for 5 days and toiletries. The engine seems small but makes enough power to merge with any interstate traffic and pass cars. The only thing I wish was better is the driver's seat. After several hours of continual driving it does get a little uncomfortable, the same for arm positioning. The Bluetooth and sirus Radio is a welcome feature when driving remote or busy areas. For the money I paid and the warranty, it's hard to beat.
