Broke in a month

Purchased the vehicle less than a month ago. Only has 1400 miles on it. While driving I started to get a battery discharge warning light. Took it in to be serviced and found I had a bad alternator. Very concerned about the quality of the car.

Don't buy a Hyundai

My 2022 Hyundai Accent bought brand new is already in the shop after having less than 8k miles on it with transmission issues. The customer service from the company is appalling. My car is covered under warranty but I have been given not timeline on when it will be fixed other than "it is going to take months." They will only do rental reimbursements and only up to $60 a day which is hard to find on short notice and for the length of time I am expected to rent. If you have the option, go with a different car manufacturer.

Car didn't make it home without problems.

The car started having engine trouble with 12 miles on the odometer. The salesman actually asked if the car had problems during the test drive when I brought it back. I wanted to say yes, the engine had problems during the test drive but I thought why not buy it.

NEVER BUY A HYUNDAI

ONLY KEPT THE CAR FOR FIVE MONTHS. THERE WAS NO FLOOR LEVEL AIRFLOW IN THE FLOOR OR FLOOR/DEFROST MODES, INSTEAD AIR LEAKED OUT OF THE DASH VENTS. THE DEALER COULDN'T FIGURE IT OUT. CORPORATE HYUNDAI WOULDN'T TAKE IT SERIOUSLY. SO TRADED IT IN FOR A REAL CAR.

Poor acceleration noise you hear everything smells from outside uncomfortable seats have fill up tank a lot

This is the worst hyuandai I have purchased I have had a 2010 just gave it to granddaughter which runs a lot better and more comfortable than this one and it has over 300 thousand miles this new 2022 Horrible and my 2017 which somebody run into me and it got loved that car and 2010 Don’t make the same mistake I made and buy this car you won’t like it

Warning: don't buy a car at Star Hyundai. I will never go there again to buy a new car. All lies, and scams and got the car that was not Promised. When buying the car other customers inside was complaining too. They lied about the car, having warning lane changing mirrors, They Promised 0% Financing for 3 years. and scammed me into Financing. They said if you pay with cash it will be a $1,000 more. They email me stating that they would pay me $10,000 for trade in and got $8,500 I was Promised mats in the rear trunk, The Sales person asked store manager to fix all the problems, and the store manager so no to everything......

Transmission/engine issues

With only 3000 miles, the transmission started to fail by bumping between gear shifted and the engine de accelerated, the vehicle was more than q month in the dealer for repairing and failure came back in less than 5 days

Terrible Experience

Terrible experience from dealing with the Manufacturer to the Dealer to the Warranty. A very vicious cycle of greed between all three. Also, lack of and incompetency in salesmen, representatives, and customer advocacy.

Horrible road stability

This vehicle is a death trap at speeds of 65+. Constantly having to correct unstable steering. Great gas mileage & perfect for anyone not needing to drive at higher speeds. I do not recommend buying this car to anyone concerned with safety.

The car had such a significant design flaw with the climate control system that nothing else mattered to me and I traded in the car for a Japanese competitor, when neither the dealer nor corporate were able to do anything to correct the flaw which needed a recall or a TSB.

Horrible Service

I purchased a brand new Hyundai Accent at the end of 2022. I started having issues with it at the end of July 2023. It was in the shop from August to October. I was told several things was wrong with the vehicle that were not true. The service center did not give any updates, I was not provided a loaner vehicle, no compensation was given, no apologies, nothing... This was very inconvenient and their corporate did nothing!

Eats gas fast and small backseat

I bought this vehicle knew I was excited to buy a Hyundai but it turns out that this vehicle consumes gas at a faster rate than other new cars that I have owned previously. It has a very small backseat. The leg room for the passenger front passenger side is shorter than normal.

Hyundai Accent sedan 4 door 2022

Within 14 days of driving, display screen stopped working (Music, Reverse camera display). When drive & accelerate, if remove leg from accelerate padel then RPM didn't come back to normal. AC cooling effect not as per requirement & It's take more time to cool. Steering very hard to drive. Back side bumber color removed. Dealer review - Zero star Rude behavior during purchasing new car No any guidance on vehicle features When i went for display repair after only 14 days of delivery of new car, nobody take it positively and no any appointment given. Told to take appointment which show more than 2 months waiting time. (I have to repair outside at my cost). Cleaning at the day of delivery, not performed. Very dirty from outside due to night rain.

Wish I Had Done More Research

The car has grinding brakes, and some squealing in the engine. It takes forever to heat up in the winter, and the acceleration is subpar. It honestly drives similar to my 2008 Ford Focus. I should have gone with a more reliable brand, like Chevy or Ford.

Dealership promised free oil changes if i purchased extended warranty now service department charges me $145 the lady behind me in line at the service center had the exact same experience so obviously this is a tactic used by the dealership to screw customers over
