Almost Perfect

Bought the car brand new, the price was great with all the features that it came with comparing to a Toyota or a Mazda of the same class. Good pick up. The only thing didn’t expect was how light the car was until I was drifting on the open highway, and was only going 75. Overall the car is great.

My ‘16 Gt

I love this sporty sedan that thinks and acts like a sports car. To prove it just set the steering to sport mode and switch from auto to manual mode. Now you can put this GT to the test. It will pass the test with ease, but will you?

I LOVE MY CAR

My Elantra GT is a great car for me. Small enough for easy parking and big enough to have three or four passengers come along on our adventures. I find it comfortable for a little person, back seat passengers usually have lots of leg room. There's enough room in the "way back" to hold three or four medium size suitcases, and some of our other stuff. I love the seat warmers! Sometimes my back stiffens up.

It’s a comfortable yet sporty ride. Been on several trips with it and compared to my last vehicle it’s almost like someone is pouring in gas regularly. Still plenty of interior space, even being a smaller car.

Small yet spacious

I really wanted to downsize from a huge van to a small car but have the space I would need if I had to haul things around and that was comfortable for Backseat passengers. I have been able to pick up Furniture using the hatchback with the seats laid down a full size desk and a dresser at one time with no problem my kids are comfortable in the backseat and I've had passengers of let's say rather large size and it's worked for us. The only flaw I would say is comparing to my original Hyundai Elantra back in 2000 I don't feel like it quite picks up the speed as my old car did but I'm still very happy with it

Fun car!

This is a cute car. Happy I purchased it. It has all the updated features I was looking for. I would recommend it to anyone. I like the navigation system, it is helpful with maps. Hands free calling is nice if a call comes when you are driving.

A lot new things to learn

This little car has a lot of new things to learn that my other car did not have. After a lot of experimenting, I finally think , I have, it down pat...I enjoy driving the Elantra a lot now. I am still learning but enjoying it.

Sporty, easy on gas

When the need arose to replace a 2014 Elantra GT, I went back and looked at the the 2016's. This car is sporty, gets great gas mileage, and I love driving it. The interior is roomier than you would think in a hatchback. I also love the 60/40 split in the back seats for when I use the vehicle for hauling things.

I like the car although i prefer a softer ride. I wish it would have come with a backup camera. The car is a bit loud so i wish there was more soundproofing. I love the hatchback and the design of the vehicle.

Great Starter Car

The Elantra GT is a great car. It looks sharp, drives smooth, great on gas, and is reliable. Interior is very comfortable, considering the size of the car. The only problem that I have encountered is that it is difficult for winter, which is expected for any car, but as long as you can handle driving on snow covered roads, you'll be fine. This is a great starter car and perfect for commuting.

The car has every feature I am looking for and the gas mileage is amazing! The sales and service team at Terry Lee is also great! Good sans heating and defrosting systems. Car is very slow to warm up and to clear windows. Living in Minnesota, this is a significant issue for me and will impact my decisions when buying a car in the future.

Fun to drive, great value.

This is my second Elantra GT. The first being a 2013. After running in to a few electrical and mechanical issues with it (nothing too serious that couldn't be fixed), I was shown a base model 2016 and was very impressed with the slightly larger engine and ride. This is a fun car to drive with great fuel economy at an excellent value. Smooth ride, good handling, solid braking. I love it.

liked my 2004 Elantra much better. this 2016 is shorter, harder to see out back window - and this window is a dirt magnet as is all of rear area from aerodynamics. if I stand near the car - it will lock itself within 45 seconds by manufacturer design - why?? very aggravating!!! I can lock the door myself thank you. The front post angles makes it hard to see oncoming traffic at times - dangerous - too much post at too extended angle. Also hard to scrap ice and snow off front window when window is not level with post - have to push snow and ice up to near roof to get it out and off windshield. post should be level with window, not higher. DESPITE THE ABOVE COMPLAINTS, WHICH I DID NOT HAVE WITH 2004 ELANTRA, it is still a good solid reliable car. I am just afraid you will try to do too much to please too many people that did not happen with the 2004 model, which was mass produced with very few option that kept the cost down.

Great little car...roomy cargo space, love the big sunroof...

Great commuter car, love the cargo room when seats folded down and that big sky roof is awesome. just need the updated safety features on up coming Elantras.
