Great car

Very happy with my car. It handles well. The interior makes me feel like I`m in a more expensive car. The gas mileage is amazing. I`m getting more mpg than the rating.

What a fun car!

I chose the 6 speed manual option and the transmission does not disappoint! Not only is my car peppy but I also get over 35mpg. My favorite thing has got to be the interior. Three different colors all complimenting each other, the leather wrapped steering wheel and shifter give it a nice touch. The styled heated body hugging seats are the cherry on top.

Reliable car

The car looks stylish inside and out. This has more cargo room which is perfect for me because I have a bicycle. Overall, it's a very reliable vehicle, especially for long trips.

Average at best

Car gets less mileage than advertised. Noisy interior. Hard to hear the radio! Handles well. Front end is so low that we have scraped the front bumper facia twice costing several hundred $ to fix. It is an OK car for the $ but I would not buy another one. The remote key design is really stupid. When you pull the keys out of your pocket the remote falls off of you key chain. It happens all of the time. We lost one remote & the dealer wants $ 200 to replace it with the same stupid design. I can help you design a much better key fob in about 10 minutes. All in all it is just an OK car. Nothing special.

Great vehicle

I am very pleased with my 2016 elantra gt. I've been with hyundai for years and I am a fan for life.. It handles smooth and has power! I love the color, the blue is awesome. I rate it 4/5 only downside is the slight blind spot but other than that its awesome.

Amazing car no mechanical issues whatsoever I owned a Dodge avenger and had problems with it since day one and it caused an accident! Everyone told me to get a hyundai but I was skeptical. Not anymore I love my Hyundai elantra gt!

Compliments from strangers who stop me to ask about my "cute" red car.

Friends and strangers have complimented me on the look of the GT. It drives and handles well, especially on highways or on straight-thru trips. It does well in merges and lane changes. In City driving, however, pick-up after stopping at a red light or stop sign can be slow and may even feel like the tires are stuck on leaves or on a road bump, but I notice this less as I drive it longer. It's generally fun to drive, easy to handle, and particularly easy to maneuver in tight spaces. I'd recommend it to parents who are looking for an inexpensive, safe car for their college-aged children, or to anyone who enjoys driving a smaller car.

New car

OK car, steering is funky, doesn't inspire a lot of confidence. Crawling in stop and go traffic is really tiresome as it is near impossible to maintain a steady speed. You are either accelerating or decelerating with no in between. That is my primary complaint.
