Overall I like the car. There are a couple frustrating things I’ve discovered so far (wired CarPlay and wipers that aren’t automatic). It’s weird that these would not be included. Basic models of all brands have these….

Passenger tire is terrible

Your guy’s passenger wheel has given me a flat twice and I’ve only had the new car for 4 months and needed a new tire each time. My old Toyota from 2007 never needed a flat replacement in the 4 years I had it. I absolutely would take back the purchase if I could and will never buy from Hyundai again because of the tires. The only reason it’s not a one star is because the car looks nice

Overpriced compared to other cars.

Car is noisy due to wind when driving 50 mph and over. Body parts do not fit even. They are uneven. Media should be wireless, like other cars. Passenger side front seat should be electric, not manual, like the driver's side, for the price of the top-of-the-line Elantra. Minimum of leather on the back of the front seats.

Nice car overall, but high RPMs and poor rear view are issues.

it’s a good-looking and nice car. However, the hybrid model I own sometimes bothers me because the RPMs get very high even at low speeds. Another issue I’ve noticed is that the rear visibility isn’t great due to the car’s design.

Too similar to the 2023 even tho this one is much higher rated.

Disappointed in fuel efficiency. The sticker had it at/above 50 mph, but I've never gotten better than 37 mph. Of coure everyone knows those sticker numbers are a lie based on lab studies impossible to reproduce in real life, but I was at or near 33 mph in my 2023, so 37 mph in the 2025 is BS. And no, I not only do NOT lead foot it, I spend the overwhelming majority of my driving time either costing or in cruise control.

2025 Elantra Blue hybrid

The only problem I see is the transmission in the hybrid. It doesn’t seem to have Continuous variable transmission and the shift out of first gear is very pronounced with the RPM in the high 2000s grinding like crazy. It’s enough to make me want to sell the car.

Car is okay

Car is good so far at 3K miles. It does feel extra low to the ground and the sun hits through as driving. No option to raise seat so can’t see the road when driving. I like it but don’t love it.

Not as expected

Brand new with engine/transmission issues shifting 1st & 2nd gears, surges forward while the brake is engaged, front passenger mirror fell from the hinge and the rear back seat pulls up not secured. Took car to the dealership all items repaired but still have issues with shifting and car pulling forward.

Good mileage

The vehicle gives a great amount of mileage. It does have a weird rev up randomly that jolts the car and can be sketchy. It’s comfortable and easy to drive.

2025 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid Review

Very disappointed in Hyundai's Service department. Needed basic issues look at for a brand new car and could not get an appointment for over a month. Was also told for just looking at wind noise coming from the driver side window, we would have to leave the car for 2 days in service and a loaner car would not be provided. I have never had this issue with any other car from a different manufacturer, they gladly inspect the car within 2 hours the same day. What is the point of having a Service Department.

Review of two cars

One car (the outside and power train) Except the window wipers!!! Which I hate since they don’t pivot away from the windshield. All but the wipers regarding the outside of the car I like very much. I have a lot of issues inside the car. Storage room in the consul area is inadequate. I truly have a problem, taking away the area to store sunglasses near the rearview mirror. The size and depth and location of the cupholders is very poor. The glove compartment once you unlatch the lock it comes crashing down. There used to be a weapon that would slowly release the store. I don’t like the size and shape of the rearview mirror. It is too small inadequate. I very much don’t like what you did to the inside of the doors. There used to be adequate room for storing a water bottle in the door. In addition to that, the armrest location is a lot further down along with the door open latch. The car I have has a black interior, which is a black door and the unlock lever is black, which is very hard to find because it’s a lower place that has been. This is the third ELANTRA that I’ve purchased the first one was a 2013 the second was a 2020 and this is a 2025 and I consider the interior of this 2025 ELANTRA is by part of the worst one. My two other ELANTRA came with heated seats and this one did not.

Disappointed

I was told I would get 58 to the gallon. I haven't gotten 50 yet and I looked online to see how to get the best gas mileage. I have an app to figure mileage because I don't trust what the car says.

Decent and unexceptional

Overall so far a good car, nothing particularly exceptional; would give it another star but corporate Hyundai seems to be very confused about which car I bought. The "Owner's Manual" is generic and seems to be for a dozen different models ("If your car is equipped with..."), and I am still getting emails insisting I have features that I don't have.

Love the gas mileage, hate the sound

So like the title says, I love only have to fuel up once or twice a month, but the sounds the actual vehicle makes is atrocious. It often sounds like it’s sticking the wrong gear when the engine is being used, feels like it as well. When the battery finally kicks in it’s sweet relief
