2 lemons in a row is crazy…

I had a buyback on last years and this one is doing the same thing… I have taken it to two dealerships and neither has been able to even figure out why this is happening to the vehicle, nevermind trying to fix it.

Rodent's love Hyundai

With only 400 miles the car overheated, it was found that a rodent had basically chewed up the car's wiring and even loved the radiator hoses.

Do not buy if you want a peace of mind

The car has nothing to offer. Neither it has a quality not it has the service support. You will only regret if you buy it. in my case i bout the vehicle and after 400 miles the front tyre has side wall damage. It makes rattling interior sounds, the fuel economy is not consistent and do not believe the average fuel economy it shows on dashboard. The situation with brakes is a night mare, the vehicle has a damage on hood while delivering (this is my mistake i havent checked properly). while applying brakes you can hear that the gears are fighting with one another. SO with all these problems i have to bear this vehicle because i bought it by spending some money. If you are someone who is reading this review, my suggestion would be "go choose some other car".

Poor Customer Service

I purchased 2 vehicles from Hyundai. Each time I had a very poor customer service experience. Due to the constant negative experiences, plainness of the amenities offered, and the low-quality visual appeal, I have already been brainstorming ending my lease early and looking at other cars - doing some pre-shopping research. Unfortunately, I still have to wait 18 more months to take steps to end my lease early due to the fact that I purchased the car just 6 months ago.

Paying for a car I can't even drive :)

I financed a brand new car off the lot with maybe 10 miles on it. Exactly one week after owning this vehicle, I experienced an issue with my battery on the way to work. The car shut off on me while I was driving on the freeway. Thankfully, I wasn't injured, but as I was forced to make an emergency stop, the vehicle was damaged in the process due to unavoidable roadside debris. It is almost 3 months since this incident, and still little has been done to get me back the car I am paying for. The dealership rarely answers, staff has rushed me off the phone and refused to answer me about returning this vehicle. My case manager and the dealership barely communicate, and when my case manager never calls me when they say they will. The only way I get "answers" is by attempting to call either the dealership or case manager myself, and I feel I shouldn't have to hound these people for communication or answers about a dud car I'm paying for. When I first left a bad review, I was told my bad review was hurting business, and how dare I give an honest review of what I'm experiencing. While Hyundai has offered to cover the total cost of repairs (as they should considering my car sat on the lot so long the battery was fried), I still don't feel cared for, heard, or like I even matter as a customer. This is the first time I've ever bought a brand new car, after my previous car was totalled in a hit and run by a semi truck. I hoped this would be a great experience, and that all my problems would end, but three months later I'm still driving the loaner vehicle from the dealership and paying monthly on a car I cannot drive.

No Bluelink on my Elantra Blue Hybrid

I keep getting Emails from Hyundai about how to setup my Bluelink which my car apparently does not have. I was looking forward to this feature so I called the dealer and have not been informed of any solution to my issue. I found out how badly I needed bluelink with this car yesterday when I accidently dropped my keys in the trunk as I was closing it. I was then locked out of my car with no way to open the doors. I don't understand how this possible since I had not locked the doors. This is a extremely dangerous outcome. I was home at the time but I could have been in some remote area and which could have risked the life of me and any passengers!! Not A fun Vehicle

Drives horribly. Feels like the engine is reving like at high speeds like it needs another gear. The blind spot notification is hardly noticeable on the outside mirrors and the audio alert is awful as it quiets the radio and when in the outside of a double turn lane, while waiting at a light it will go off as a car approaches that side. You are not turning into that lane just waiting to make a turn. The entertainment system is a complete joke. The apple play works on occasions and when it does I cant toggle thru my XM set radio stations. The navigation system is very basic. unlike other Nav Apps that show more information. The back up alert only beeps when a moving object is behind you . No alert as you get closer to a wall. Older model cars has that option. Only pro to this vehicle is the milage per gallon

i've had my car for about 2 months i've made 1 payment...1 and my car COMPLETELY died on me in the middle of driving and almost KILLED me!!! Now my dealer has it for over a week now telling me it will be 2 weeks just to get the part!!!

I was given progress insurance wen i first made this purchase 1 month later my vehicle was involved in an acciddent .. progessive cut my insurance off so i was able to do anything about this situation now im stuck with this situation ive made complaints and yet received any calls to help .. the car was totaled n been in the tow yard for 3 months now

Great car, getting parts, not so much

Loved driv8ng this car. But I was in an accident and the insurance company decided to toal it based on part availability. My air bags blew and the seat belt tensioners blew. The body shop could not find these parts in stock. Insurance Company said they have seen it take up to a year to get these parts in and decided it wasnt worth repairing. The one thing that was annoying when using the car, was 2 things. No wireless android auto, and the usb plug was a slow charing USB-A and not USB-C with adaptive fast charge

Numerous issues not addressed by dealership

I have had numerous issues with the car malfunctioning. With one exception, each issue has been reviewed and deemed as ‘not happening’, despite my having evidence they did occur. I do not feel safe in this vehicle. I am opening a complaint with HyundaiUSA because the dealership has failed to have ANY answers. The technicians seem unable to explain how the car works… they just plug in the diagnostics systems and if they can’t figure it out, tell me it is fine. It is not fine when your car automatically brakes without cause at high speed, your dashboard goes black while driving multiple times, and then the car says that all the cameras are turned off. These are just a few of the issues with this vehicle. I believe this car has software issues and want my money back. The o oh offer is for them to buy it back at a used car price. This is ridiculous. The car started malfunctioning within two weeks of purchase.

Just had an engine failure before it hit 4,000 miles.

This is our third Hyundai. We love the car and the gas mileage. However, we unfortunately had a serious engine failure on a vacation which caused major inconvenience. Now we took the car in to hopefully get fixed with a new engine.
