More than you expected for base model hybrid

I used to own a 2015 Prius with over 197k miles on it. I thought it was the best car I have ever owned. Then I bought this Elantra hybrid blue trim because i wanted a new car. Toyota hybrid was overpriced, even Corolla hybrid were priced higher locally in Portland area due to scarcity at dealerships. At first I thought the styling was over the top. Then it grew on me. It drives much better than my old car. much quicker off the line or by just giving it some gas when at freeway speed. With all the safety features to warn me it keeps me safe. I love the MPG as i average 54MPG on my 80 mile daily commute.

Great Value, Fuel Efficiency, Comfort, Roominess. Beats Corolla in all

We love our 2025 Hyundai Elantra Blue hybrid (entry-level model). We first bought a new 2025 Toyota Corolla LE hybrid (entry-level model). That was a big mistake. Traded the Corolla in on our Elantra. Should've bought the Elantra first! Elantra Blue hybrid (entry model) is superior over Corolla LE hybrid (entry model) in many ways, including: comfort, mpg (up to 62mpg hwy), roominess (both front & back), tech items, design, wheels, even better intermittent wiper settings (Elantra has 5 intermittent setting speeds, Corolla has only one), AND PRICE!

First 700 miles have been honey-sweet

I had an '04 Elantra for several years and fully enjoyed owning it, so getting the hybrid version wasn't much of a leap. The body is tight and quiet, the lane-keeping and collision avoidance tech are welcome as I get older, and the absence of GPS isn't a problem thanks to integrated Android Auto.

Elantra Hybrid Fun!

This hybrid is absolutely fun to drive! Whether around town or on the open road, I use cruise control as often as possible as it will slow down automatically when it gets a certain distance from the car in front of it and lets you know when you stray too close to the side lines.

Car is okay

Car is good so far at 3K miles. It does feel extra low to the ground and the sun hits through as driving. No option to raise seat so can’t see the road when driving. I like it but don’t love it.

Not as expected

Brand new with engine/transmission issues shifting 1st & 2nd gears, surges forward while the brake is engaged, front passenger mirror fell from the hinge and the rear back seat pulls up not secured. Took car to the dealership all items repaired but still have issues with shifting and car pulling forward.

fuel efficient

great fuel economy. However, it is small vehicle and in order to get heated front seats you need the most expensive version of the car and for such a small car it seems crazy to pay that kind of price. If this vehicle came with the bare minimum (heated seats) as the "non-deluxe" additions then it would definitely be worth it's price.
