suspension

This vehicle has a bad suspension system and rides very rough. The dealership has ordered two new rear shocks for me and will install them in about one week. I hope this will improve the ride. Other than that, the car performs well (except for the suspension) and gets good gas mileage.

First time leasing

Overall I like the car but there is a problem with starting it. I should not have to put the car in neutral to start it. The service center I went to cannot find the problem and it seems no one is following up with me either.

2013 Elantra

My car is great on gas mileage and I think it's pretty well made. My big negative is: Very difficult to see when backing up or another car on the side of you. For this, I am very disappointed.

Not What I Hoped For

I chose the 2013 Elantra over a Honda Civic, and I have lived to regret it. The biggest reason I chose the Elantra was the outstanding gas mileage, which has not been as good as advertised. I'm lucky if I average 29 mpg no matter how and where I am driving, and that is much lower than what I expected. The car itself seems cheaply made, as I had to get my entire bumper replaced when I hit a raccoon. Inside, I am pleased with the sun roof, heated seats, and Sirius XM radio, but I still wish I had gone with the Honda.

Nice Car for the money

Not a good car for upstate NY driving in the winter. It is all over the road. Needs different design for this small car. Other than that, it is fun to drive. I would not purchase this car again for my driving needs.

Good but a few design problems

Pros: Looks good, runs good, good handling. Cons: A little underpowered, trunk lid missing a knob (can only be opened with the remote or from the driver's seat), no spare tire provided Good car overall.

Poor quality overall.

Not happy with vehicle. Even though i have been extra careful taking care of the interior, i can see how easy it deteriorates out of nothing. There is a squeaky sound on the shocks since i got the car. There is a vinegar smell that comes out every time i turn the a/c on.

Good looking car, not great in the snow

I have been really happy with my Hyundai Elantra except for when there is any snow accumulation. I am really disappointed about how this particular car handles in the snow. I love all the features in my limited edition: Bluetooth, heated seats, Navigation, leather seats. I also love the style of my car for the price. I have also had to replace 3 tires within 2 years so I don't think the tires are very good either.

Elantra

I like the performance of the car but would like to see a few more features like back up assist. The construction of the car is of low quality. Front fender keeps pulling away from body of the car and overall outside construction seems to be lacking sturdiness.
