2013 Hyundai Elantra Review

Overall car value is great. However, there are several quality issues with this vehicle. The vehicle lacked exterior paint quality (easily scratched and easily chipped). As it relates to the interior, the car seats lack comfort and adequate back support. Also, the fuel per mileage is misleading, the car appears to perform lower fuel per mileage than claimed.

2013 Hyundai Elantra Limited

This has been a fairly good car for me. I went from a BMW X5 that was always in service to this. Big Change. 6 months into having my 2013 Hyundai Elantra Limited the steering gear went out. It took 2.5 months to repair. I was in a rental car (covered by the dealership) for that time while my car was in service. The other issue is every few weeks when I go to start the car it will not start unless I put it into neutral. I just recently discovered putting it into neutral would start the car. Since this only happens occasionally the dealership can't find the solution to fix it. Very frustrating. This wont happen for a month but when it does then it happens several times in a row and then doesn't happen again for a few weeks.

I have had my automible for about 31/2 years it good on gas however my sight lines and not good . Too low to the ground.

Cabin space could be a little more roomier , I looking to change car in the up comming months For a larger automible.

Factory tires only lasted 30000 miles and the battery went bad at just under 4 years. They should use better batteries and tires.

Review of 2013 Elantra

Good styling but gas mileage is much worse than advertised. There is some rough idling once in awhile. Pick up power is less than desire. With lack of pick up power combine with low gas mileage, the car is not as desirable as it is advertised to be.

The 2013 Elantra seems to have some problems and many recalls

Every other month, something goes wrong with the car. There’s been many recalls on the vehicle too. I’m not sure I would purchase another Hyundai. There are other vehicle manufacturers that don’t have as many issues.

Disappointed

I believe the car is but too low with poor shock absorbers. It could also come with more amenities especially for price paid. I believe the Kia or Volkswagen is a better value for the money!! There are many import cars which offer consumer more value for the money.

Great until 60k miles.

I am very disappointed with the overall depreciation value of my vehicle. I am second owner. I am also disappointed in the fact that the warranty is gone after first owner. I feel as though the warranty should roll over. Also, the problems that have came up after 60k miles, is ridiculous. It is a beautiful car. But would I buy again? No, probably not.

Rough ride

I purchased this car new, from the beginning it has had a rattling sound, now the car has about 69,000 miles and is getting worse. The car has power though, I like how it drives. I used to drive a big truck and when I switched to the Elantra it felt really small, now I am used to it and is a comfortable ride. My daughter is the one driving this car, I gave it to her when she started to drive, a few bumps here and there but I have peace of mind with this car. I always take it for service to the dealership, everyone is nice at the service department and that is important. This car has heated seats, Bluetooth (works great, pairs right away), it does not have power seats.

I have enjoyed driving my 2013 Hyundai Elantra since purchasing it a year ago. It drives well and has a lot of helpful features. It gets good gas mileage and has had no problems so far. I would recommend this vehicle.

My 2013 Elantra

I love the car in almost every aspect! (Need to explain that I am a "Car Guy" I have restored cars, trucks, VW's., Motorcycles, 4 X 4's etc. and I love performance and I am not a young fellow. As a versed mechanic who understands very well how things work) That said, I accept the overall philosophy for the Elantra niche market, however, I was at first a little disappointed about the performance in comparison with the overall design. There is one thing which I found very negative about the Hyundai brand. these cars boil inside under the sun in a hot day in Atlanta. At work three other fellows and I park our cars outside the office. we take turns to drive for lunch, invariably my car is always the hottest. the other cars are Nissan Maxima 2006, VW Jetta 2010, Toyota Cambry 2012

The vehicle is not a bad vehicle

The car does not feel stable when you’re driving on a highway especially when you hit a bump a dose not stay stable It needs better suspension when you hit abump you could really feel it in the back

Hyundai 2013 Elantra

Car drives great, even though it's a little larger than my last vehicle (a Hyundai Accent). Acceleration could be a little better, but gas mileage is good (30+ MPG average on highways). The only drawback is that I hate the fact that the is no spare tire. The car comes with some sort of inflation kit that is supposed to repair a flat tire enough to get you to a repair location. A can of "Fix-a-Flat" would've worked just as well, and Hyundai saves/pockets the cost of providing you with a spare tire and a jack.
