Elantra Sport, A fun car for the price.

First new car. Very happy with the performance and value. It is a great daily driver with decent fuel economy I spend about 70% of my time on the highway and I am getting around 30-31 MPG. I tend to be a bit heavy on the acceleration and probably would get better fuel economy if I eased up when the light turns green.

Little things can be annoying.

We have a 2018 Elantra. Love the car but wish that: 1. The door opening slides were redesigned. As the driver I cannot open the drivers door without it closing on me again. I have to push it open with my foot exactly right so it will catch or it closes, sometimes three or four times. Extremely annoying. 2: It needs bigger wheels and that was not an option. The vehicle is so low that every curb pull into will scratch the paint. It is not always convenient to get out and see how close you are. I asked for 17" wheels when I bought the car but was told I could not get them. 3: The throttle response in "Eco" is way to long. 1/2 to 3/4 second delay. Terrible. I now have to time my acceleration on a left turn so far in advance of oncoming traffic it is scary. I seldom remember to switch to "sport" at these times as I am concentrating on my driving and traffic conditions. 4. There needs to be a way to access the tranny fluid and its condition. We live in a very hot climate and I take good care of my vehicles. But not to be able to check the transmission condition without crawling under the vehicle etc. is a pain. To have a service check it is way too costly. Those are the main few that come to mind. There are one or two more, but I must go.

Happy with my Elantra

After driving my Elantra for over a year I can honestly say I have been satisfied with it since no real problems. I think the 2018 has a slightly sporty appearance and the stripe down the side adds to it. The black paint with subtle colors is a surprise

Good to go!

Awesome mileage for my daily trips over the Pali highway. Very spacious trunk for all of my aquatic equipment and for all of my shopping experiences. Interior has plenty of leg room for my tall passengers. This is all around a good car.

Value Edition Elantra 2018

I have been enjoying my Elantra. Can not beat the MPG. Easy car to wash. The only 3 things I would say is the trunk entry has a 'short' design. But I did recognize that before I bought it. However, the Headlights are sorely lacking to me for proper lighting at night. I am looking at having the bulbs upgraded to give off a longer and wider range of sight. And it should come with window rain guards. Any moisture on the windshield blows right inside the front window and rolls down to the speakers. But for the money, it is a great car., so far.

Great performance , smooth, easy to drive and with lots of room. Good value and overall reliability. In addition, I love the slick sporty look of the car! Additional options give it the extra kick that makes you feel luxurious.

2018 Hyundai Elantra Sport

I replaced a 2016 BMW 328i with my Elantra Sport (1.6 L turbo) and am glad I did because it's loaded with great hi tech safety gear, has an unbeatable warranty , is an understated, sharp looking little sports sedan that gets out like a rocket ship in Sport drive mode, and averages 33-34 MPG on regular gasoline .I like it so much in fact that I'm now driving 3 Hyundai turbos: a '17 Tucson Limited, this '18 Elantra Sport, and a brand new Kona Limited that I chose over a Mini Countryman S for a considerable fraction over what that would have cost to buy and operate that car.

Nice ride

The 2013 and 2015 Elantra had much sportier lines! The 2018 is bigger, rides a bit smoother, but feels bigger than I like; reminds me of a Camry. Heated seats are back! Back up camera big! Dependable car.

Cheaply Made For An Expensive Price

I purchased a 2018 Hyundai Elantra Limited Edition. This car is costing my double the price that a regular used car would of costed. Issues with the muffler, along with the radio going through multiple replacements, and if one of your back tires comes out of alignment don't count on having it repaired. Turns out it can't be repaired from what I was told. Also the car shakes once you pass 40 mph. This car was amazing the first week I had it, then it exhibited nothing but constant issues. Avoid this line of cars at all cost!

Limited model met our needs. Ease of use for two drivers, one being 5 foot and the other 6 foot height.

We needed a compact to fit into our garage. The dealer location is nearby and has a good reputation. Fuel economy is excellent. The safety features are excellent. The trunk area is quite large for a compact car.

It's a car

It hasn't died yet and I'm the queen of killing cars. My fun car is a Subaru STI so this thing is gutless compared to the Subaru. It gets me A to B while saving gas. Its saved me putting more miles on my Subaru. I have an 08 STI with 80k miles. Not much can beat that.

Fun Car!!

I am having a blast with this car. I deliberately chose the type of vehicle that I wanted with the types of accessories I wanted to have and got exactly what I wanted. And I got it in Red, too. I haven't had a red car in years...the mileage is excellent- I am getting anywhere from 28-34 miles a gallon. I drive mostly at night, so the sunroof is used a LOT! And the heated seats? Yes, living in Florida, heated seats- they are great for soothing a sore back. With three levels of heat, they are perfectly adjustable, too. The seats are comfortable and the back seats are roomy enough for adults, too. I love the Scarlet Red Pearl, it glows in the sunlight, pretty. A very good value car! Love it

My Hyundai Elantra is Great

I've had my Hyundai for a year now and I love it. Stylish, performs great in all traffic conditions. And very inexpensive to operate and maintain. Great warrenty. I'm glad I chose Hyundai this is my first. I can't think of anything about my car I don't like.

2018 Elantra SE

I noticed the 2019 Elantra has rims where as the 2018 has plastic hubcaps, which I would have liked the rims instead. The wiper blades could have been positioned better, one blade is longer than the other one and when it wipes it leaves a mark right in your front view when driving until the other blade wipes it off.
