The cab/ Breaks

The cab is really thin. You can hear the ridges in the road expecially on I-20. And the carpet where the trunk and gas latches are you can’t clean bc it’s to close to the floor. when it rains really hard the breaks will slip.

Elantra REveiw

Basic good auto but Hyundai could do a better job on the ride and road noise. Paint Quality and interior Quality are good Styling is nice. My main complaint is the ride a road noise. The ride Quality and road noise are not as good as other small to medium autos I have ridden in. If that could be better, Hyundai would have quite a good medium sized automobile

Cheaply Built.

Needs a little better paint job and interior. I have already had to replace the original tires. Radio and speakers are cheap but then I guess I shouldn't expect it to be any better since I did purchase the cheapest one they had. I really don't expect it to last as long as I will be paying for it.

After drivong my xivic 13 mdsel . And then going to the elontra was like stepping down in quality .then i traded for the sanata and its way better.than the elontra. Much better tighter car . Better qualit over all

It's ok

I've leased an Elantra since 2013. This is my third car. I have to say the lines of the 2015 was my favorite. This 2018 is much bigger and clunkier. I think I may be getting away from the Elantra when the lease is up. Rides nice and the features in the car are nice. Still blind spots, but the warning lights help.

Power steering

Hyundai Elantra 2018 is a new car not even one year the power steering was brokering already. I had to take days off come back and forth twice a week to drop off and picked up my car. It was really wasting my time Hopefully Hyundai company will do the power steering better and improve in the future

Performance

I’ve driven 2 Hyundai cars and both have had cylinders Misfire and needed to be replaced. First car with in the first 6months and the one I have know with in a year. The car is to expensive. I don’t feel it’s a safe car.

Quality has decreased

I was very happy with my first 2 Hyundai cars, but the 2018 vehicles don't have the attractiveness or quality of the older ones. I bought the Elantra because of past satisfaction, but regret not buying the quieter Chevy Cruze.

Comfortable ride, problems with breaking and clicking noise in engine.

Very enjoyable car to ride. Excellent mileage. I am concerned about the breaks grinding and clicking noise in the engine, especially when the car is stalling. Breaks grind/vibrate and go to the floor on hard stops. Have been issues since I bought it.

The vehicle is okay for what you are paying. It doesn’t give me any problems. I think the engine could be improved and the fuel economy could be in improved. The engine accelerates slow. And I feel like the eco burnes more gas.

2018 Hyundai Review

Good car, but less comfortable than the previous 2014 Elantra. Braking system is much improved. Changes need to be made to the headlights as the lights at night are significantlt dim and essentially ineffective. Mileage economy is the biggest gain for tjis vehicle.

Not a sound vehicle

Feels like it will fall apart when driving over the slightes rough roads. Do not drive through construction zones because this vehicle might shake apart. The Ford fusion might be a more durable vehicle than the Elantra.

Good value for the money, but nothing in particular stands out

Better priced than the competition and has more features. Could be more refined in certain areas but you have to consider this pricepoint as well. It is very handsome on the exterior and has a unique design language. Visibility out the inside is excellent.

Hyndai Elentra 2018 purchased new

I was very dissatisfied with the price we paid to lease this car. I didn't realize this while we were at the car dealership but realized after wards that we paid more to lease this car than the Sonata we leased before and the Elantra is a class below the Sonata plus we had more coverage such as tire replacement.

Elantra

I am leasing this vehicle, so the only thing i do not like about it is cleaning the windshields inside. Too hard to reach and i take it to the dealership to have them clean them. They are very good about it too.

My favorite car, but

After having several Elantras, this is my favorite. Only issue is that it "stumbles" when you initially step on the gas pedal. I think this is a safety issue, but Hyundai cannot find an issue, and of course, it didn't stumble when they drove it.

having driven 3 (or 4) accents prior to leasing this elantra, i LOVED them... .. was convinced that the elantra would be a great deal & it was, however it's a bit longer than the accent & i still prefer the smaller vehicle...so the next one i'm going back to the accent

A little tame, but dependable.

This car is a little tame, but seems to be VERY dependable work car. It's ok to drive, you know your going to make it to where you know you need to be. The fuel economy can't be beat. The headrests are a nightmare for anyone under 5'5", they force your head into an awkward position.

Engine sucks! Lags bad. Took it in and I was told “the oil is not getting to the top of the engine” and that the (Hyundai) guy they talked to says it’s normal because his does it. Now sometimes when I try to take off it acts like I just let off the gas and it rolls instead of accelerating. Overall if this is the only thing you can afford go for it if you can afford better go with a better brand. DO RESEARCH!! Thank god this is only a lease so it’s Hyundai’s car at the end the end of the day. I’m going back to Ford or Toyota

8/24/19 vehicle review

Traded my Veloster for the Elantra for more passenger room and thought I would have more room for my walker. Interior room is better but the vertical opening space is narrow and difficult to load. I do get good gas mileage which is a plus but I sure do miss my Veloster because of all the storage space.
