The chipping paint problem has left me a bit puzzled I’ve purchased many Hyundai’s in the past and I’ve never experienced this type of problem. I need to have this issue resolved. Thank you great day

Average styling, looks a lot like other models of cars. Comfortable drive and space. Some issues with trunk opening and alarm systems. Some paint issues upon delivery. Door gap on rear passenger door.

Elantra

It’s a nice dependable car, if you have never owned a sonata. It would be perfect for a kid going off to college or a first time car buyer. It would give a parent a good feeling of safety for their child if they live in an area where they might encounter snow.

Elantra

Only complaint is that the trunk cannot be opened from outside the vehicle. Must use key fob button or lift the latch inside the car. Should be able to open with a latch on the hatch. Would be more convenient.

Fast and equip

The Elantra, is a fast car easy to maneuver at all given point of time . I have a red color which stands out and fits in any location , love the way he performs when road is tough to navigate. Good car. However...

Handles, rides great. Great gas mileage. However, tires constantly loses pressure. Have had to lift this car twice, with second time having to replace rubber boots on both struts. Car hesitates in 1st gear.

Elantra is an average car with great gas mileage

It would be better if I could lock it while it’s running to walk to the mailbox or to run inside the store. Or if it was push to start. Or if it had leather seat instead. I love it for now but I will be upgrading soon

It gets me there!

You get what you pay for. It runs well and gets me to where I need to go with good gas mileage. It is loud because you can hear all the road noise. The seats are very uncomfortable and need more padding. The car is very low to the ground and difficult to get in and out of.

Slightly disappointed

At 17000 miles had a headlight burn out and a week later the other headlight burned out. Had 70000 miles on 2014 Elantra and never burned out a headlight. A week later the engine light came on. Wonder what is next.

2018 Elantra Value Edition

The features included in the Value Edition package are great but the build quality of the car is questionable. Creaking sounds from the suspension amd body while going over uneven pavement or speed bumps at very low speeds are disappointing. Fit and finish quality of interior and exterior are great. Electronic issues with keyless entry system and alarm are also of concern now. Hopefully my vehicle is the exception but I encourage potentiol buyers to take an extended test drive beyond the usual 10 min drive around the block, to ensure there are no abnormal noises in the particular car they might purchasing.

Rough ride. Loud road noise. Gas mileage is the only plus. Trying to pay off early and keep low miles so maybe I can get a good trade in price.I would not buy this car again. Blue tooth will not allow me to plug my phone in and use my maps to travel so I have to run off battery phone which can be a hassle.

I like everything about the car. It drives nice. It is decent on gas. My only complaint is that the car is too low to the ground. It wouldnt take much snow to get this car stuck. Other than that it seems like a decent made car

Breaks

Sometimes I have a concern with the breaks, when I turn to the right. I did take it in for service but as of February 26, 2019 felt the safety concern again. So, I will return the vehicle to Rick Case service department tomorrow.

I bought the vehicle brand new. It’s a very fun drive and speeds up very quickly. Features are great, infinity speakers sound nice, and looks very luxurious. The car is just not a good winter car.

Overall I like the Elantra as I have had 5. The heater needs upgraded. It takes way to long to heat up. The windshield wipers are horrible. The ride could be smoother. I'm referring to brand new Elantras when I'm referring to wipers , heat and ride.

Elantra

I like the Elantra but there are a few things that are aggravating. The placement of the buttons for the defrost are in a bad spot and I'm constantly hitting them when I don't mean to. If it's raining the back up camera gets wet and hard to see from. Don't like that they eliminated the cd player.Vehicle is too close to the ground, have scratched up the front already because it's so low.

Not very impressed

Just want a cd player. The touch screen controls seem too clumsy for me. After owning car for only 1 yr. 2 mths., ignition coil already had to be replaced. Disheartening and makes you wonder what's going to go wrong next. Seats too narrow, not enough padding.
