Nice car, lousy customer service

The actual service to the car was fine- no problem at all. Getting to that point is the most unpleasant experience I've ever had with a service department and I'm from New York City! I really like the car though, so the lousy service is very disappointing.

2020 Elantra

Hopefully car does not fall apart. Eorm assmbley has been replaced at 8.5 miles. It is a concern. Mu other cars even 150k miles did not have this problem. This is what I feared aboit Hyundai. It should be improved

Looks good/Not worth the money

Not worth the money looks great on the outside very disappointing way too much money for this car is not a smooth ride very small on the inside. Overpriced sales person was very very pushy never would come back to that sales person would never recommend him

Is an average car

Had this vehicle for 1 year and not 100% impressed. Does have sufficient leg room, seats are very uncomfortable on long rides. For being a smaller vehicle it does not give good gas mileage. The front collision warning works great, only once it warned me of a collision when nothing was in the road, it must of been a ghost. Lane assist is good except you never know what mph you have to be for it to activate, it changes all the time. Seat warmers warm up fast. Good 1st car, cant comment on bluetooth features since do not have a smart phone to connect to it. Also cant comment on the cruise control, never used it. In a few yrs will look for a vehicle that has an automatic start

Issues with AC

I have issues with AC within 5-6 months. I bought this car in December 2020 with mechanical insurance but insurance doesn't cover AC maintenance. I took it to the dealer at Van Hyundai Carrollton where I bought the car, they did maintenance but again the problem is the same, does not give cold air in city limit areas during the daytime. I am unable to use this Car to pick my kid's from school because of an AC issue.

Love the car

Hate that people can steal these cars so easily. Other then that the car is perfect for me. It is larger than my last car and the comfortability is amazing. There is so much leg room in the back for my passengers as opposed to my old Hyundai Accent and I love it

Good, fun to drive. Too many recalls. The speakers are low quality. The screen re boots on its own randomly while driving, Seats and interior space are comfortable. Good looking exterior. Paint on interior door handle peels off on all four doors.

I was satisfied with the vehicle when I first bought it. After I received a recall and settlement, it took me more than 1 month to schedule for an appointment. The engine noise problem got worse and I stopped use the car before I sent to the dealer for the recall. It took more than 20+ days to solve the problem.

failing signal lights and auto trunk opener

Low quality due to the failure of the left and right turn signals and failure of the automatic Trunk opener when standing next to it with key in hand. Any other concerns would be minimal for this model of the 2020 Elantra.

Nice vehicle, but if you want something more stylish and eye catching go for something else. Overall the car is worth it. It gets you where you need to go safely and has many safety features. Good for a first car

Reliability??

Nice car for the price, but reliability has become an issue. I bought an 2014 Elantra because Consumers Report had a high rating as far as reliability and overall value. It was a great car and had 200,000 of pretty much trouble- free driving. I'm not as confident with my 2020 Elantra. I hope I turn out to be wrong! Reliability is very important when your job involves getting from point A to point B.

Car

I got my 2020 Elantra with only 15 miles 17 months ago and I’ve already had to have the engine replaced. Not a good look thank GOD it was still under warranty! I pray nothing else goes wrong with this car other then the required maintenance.

2021 Sonata

I like this vehicle. I traded in the 2021 Elantra Sport because it was too small. I'm thinking of going bigger. The car drives great except that I'm having some steering wheel pull and vibration at 10k miles. other than that, no problems.

Disappointed in car

Noisy can hear everything! Awful bumpy ride. You feel everything on the road. Cramped getting in and out of car. Always hits head. not a comfortable ride at all. I wouldn't purchase this car again or recommend.

Car is fine. It is a small car so ride is not the best. Biggest problem is the engine recall and not fixing it.

Vehicle drives fine, issue with engine drinking oil. Like the fact that it came with all the safety features. The car seems to drink oil and runs out. Currently the check engine light is on the dealership could not get the car scheduled to check for a month. Tried 2 different dealers.

Small trunk car is to low

Service leaves a bad taste in your mouth , that’s why I regret buying this vehicle. Problem with camera just 1 month after purchase of brand new vehicle. I didn’t expect to be in a service dept that soon.

Build Quality

Company should focus on styling both interior and exterior more along with performance. Wipers, brakes need to be improved. Door noises need to be taken care of. Engine quality and average mileage are excellent.

Was happy until my engine broke

No complaints with the car until my engine needed to be replaced. Want having any issues until the check engine light started flashing. Took it to the dealership and was told it needed a new engine. Mind you, the dealership told me I was going to have wait 3 weeks before getting serviced but I was lucky they had a cancellation and the problem was diagnosed before I want on a 300 Mile trip
