Southern states Hyundai SUCKS

Their dealership is the worst EVER!!!!!You must either be desperate to buy a vehicle or have terrible credit and have no access to any other dealerships in close proximity. Do your research before buying from these lame crooks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bad car to drive you can use it only for city not to travel for long road I wasn’t happy with the car and also the Familly they just sell you what ever pepole they don’t want I won’t never buy car from them

Needed new engine first 6 months of new purchase.

Worst experience I have ever had in owning a new vehicle. Hyundai would not stand behind their product without causing extreme stress in handling the matter and getting repairs/new engine approved! I had to take my car Weekly for months to get it “topped off” with oil because the knocking was so loud it was scary. Every week, 40 minutes getting this done .... lot of time missed from work!

Not my favorite car

Not what I wanted to buy gave it a try. I cant wait to get rid of it. Its to slow it wants to shut down all the time for whatever reason it always says Im not holding the wheel. There is no rear window wiper.

This car is unreliable

The engine blew in this vehicle with only 14,000 miles on it, that is unacceptable I really can’t tell you anything else other than this vehicle should not blow the engine so soon, the first oil change was done at the dealer it was purchased from, shortly after that the engine blew

Recall problem not fixed after many months

I've had four Elantras but this recall has been a major headache and apparently they STILL don't have a fix after many months. Checking the oil regularly is not my idea of convenience and the possibility of a car fire is frightening.

It sucks

Bought brand new and Doesn’t work consistently. It definitely came off the assembly line way too quickly. It’s a nightmare to get fixed at the dealership since appts. are months out. I have anxiety since I never know if it’s going to start and drive when I need it to.

2020. Bad engine year.

Good car. Horrible engine. Currently in oil consumption test. Have to take car to dealership every 1000 miles. Kind of a hassle. Has been a recall on engine oil rings. Lot of tapping noise from engine compartment.

Performance

The vehicle loses power on take off and appears to stall out. Dealership does not want to take the time to correct the issue. Speakers does not work. Don’t buy this car!! This car is cheaply made and is not worth the money. I will never buy another Hyundai!!!

Great car, terrible customer service

I just hope someone at Hyundai reads this. My Elantra was totaled in JULY and Hyundai Total Loss has yet to respond to a payoff offer sent by the at-fault party's insurance company months ago. It's been terribly frustrating and as great as this car was, I do not intend to ever purchase from Hyundai again because of this absolute void of customer support. I mean, why am I getting a customer satisfaction survey five months after my car was reported totaled? Almost feels like you're taunting me.

Problem first year bought

During the first year car was purchased I had an issue starting the car. I thought I left something on n battery was the issue. Recently I have the same issue happened multiple times my battery was checked and it was good. This happens randomly and dealership telling me nothing is wrong with the vehicle

Car was perfect until stolen

Many Hyundais are being stolen around the Columbus area and nothing has been done to address how easy it is to steal them. Someone was able to break into my locked car in broad daylight, rip out the ignition, start it, and drive off.

The worst customer service

The dealership will no longer take my reservations - citing they’re too busy and it will be months before I can get my car in for service that they sold me when leasing the vehicle! Will be the last Hyundai I’ll lease unfortunately, because it’s a nice little vehicle.

Engine failure with less that 6000mi/engine recall

We loved this car, until we received a recall notice for the engine. Brought the car in to be checked and told it was fine. Less than a month later, the car had catastrophic engine failure in a rural area of Kansas. Had the car towed in and was told it would take a month to fix. It took 2.5 months. There was no loaner car available so I had my daughter Uber/Lift to/from work for a week before a loaner/rental car was available from the dealer. My out of pocket costs for that was $300. I was told to submit it to Customer Service On line for reimbursement. I have submitted the request 5 times - each gets closed. I contacted the District Manager, the Service Manager and have gotten a run around for months. This should have been reimbursed immediately. I should not be out $300 because Hyundai sold me a brand new car with a bad engine.

My car was stolen.

The anti-theft system didn’t work and my car was stolen because of a TikTok challenge. I don’t know why a car is even capable of being started with a USB! And my daylight headlight went out and it’s not just the headlight. It is an electrical issue.

Worse car ever, easy to Steal.

Not a safe vehicle, easy to steal. My vehicle did not had the security feature. Within 5 minutes with a USB my car was stolen. The damages of the car was pretty serious and scary at the same time. I will never buy another Hyundai waiting for the car to be fix to trade in.
