Elantra SEL

I bought the Elantra for looks and cost and enjoy it very well so far. It has a great MPG compared to my last vehicle, a Ford F-150 which I bought new in 2005. The comfortability is very good. The trunk has a very good size.

Suddenly all Youtube reviews seem irrelevant

I watch a lot of reviews on youtube to make sure I get what I want, and specifically with Hyundais a lot of people were concerned about the way steering and suspension feel. I drove an old Elantra model just for a bit a long time ago and indeed steering felt almost disconnected from driving. Not anymore. In this model, the steering wheel feels perfectly connected to the drive. Suspension is not as good as in Kia Forte S (sport model), but easily good enough. Some small vibrations can be felt, but the drive feels smooth. Didn't make me feel tired after an hour and a half on highway. The advertised fuel economy is 30 city/40 highway. I sometimes get less than 25 in city in stop and go traffic, and on long streets with little traffic I can exceed 30. I hope it will improve over time after the engine breaks in. I could feel right away it's engine is bigger (2 litters vs 1.6 liters) than on my previous car, and now merging to highways is breeze. But it does affect fuel economy, I guess.

a car that pleases

I've owned 4 so far trading up every so often not because there are problems but rather do to the neat styles and financing and options on the elantra . these are great dependable cars and when taken care of as with any car its going to last many years . the upgraded safety driving fetchers are life saving.

More room inside than a Sonata

I had an 05 Elantra - obviously for 14 years - no "major" issues with it. I looked at Sonata, but preferred the 20 Elantra. Great workmanship - great looks overall - great price. Can't ask for better.

Reliable Car

My family has chosen Hyundai repeatedly over the years and the cars are always very reliable. The only times we needed to replace them were because of accidents or ending leases. My family had one Elantra for almost 15 years. It was easy to make the choice when I needed a new car, and I am beyond happy with my decision.

Love our 2020 Elantra

My girlfriend and I were in a major bind after our car got totaled in an accident due to bad weather. She got in touch with a local Hyundai dealership and the sales staff did everything they could to make sure we got in a car that was in our budget but looks and drives amazing! The features that come standard blew us away! Back up camera, blind spot check, traction control, Bluetooth?! We feel like we hit the jackpot! The Elantra handles beautifully, such a smooth ride! This has been one of the greatest things to come from my lady’s Facebook addiction!

Fantastic Sporty Vehicle

Smooth ride

Great Ride

Best car I have ever driven. I'm very happy I decided to go with this make and model. The gas mileage is very good, the speaker system has great sound, and having dual A/C is a definite plus being that I live in South Florida.

First New Car

At work when I walk by the front door and see my car I say what a nice looking care. Then I realize, Oh wait that is my car. Everyone at Fitzgerald's Countryside Hyundai was great. From the sales person, to the fiance person, to the support staff everyone took care of us.. Everything about the car has worked perfectly.

Love This Car

This is my 4th Elantra and I have owned Hyundai cars for 30 years. They just keep getting better and better. You get a lot more car for your money than other makes and models. The dealership is easy to work with and they stand behind their cars with regard to service.

Elantra good, less expensive rreplacement for Sonata

For the price this is a great car. Stylish, comfortable, and a great value. Like it almost as much as the sonata but much less expensive and a great warranty. So far it is a great ride, and I hope the next few years are as great as the first month.

Loyal Hyundai Owner

I bought my first Hyundai in 2005. Price, reliability, warranty all were important to me. I was completely satisfied from Day 1! This past December, I was hit from behind on the highway and pushed into the car in front of me. The front and rear sections of the car were pushed in and the car was totaled. Luckily, I was safe and unhurt. The middle section held up and protected me. Did not crush from the impact of the accident. For a small car, it performed as any driver would hope. The AAA driver commented on how well the car withstood the accident. The car had only 75,000 original miles and was always dependable so I was very disappointed. I live close to work, hence the low mileage. This past Spring I purchased a Fiat Spider convertible to have something fun to drive in the Summer. I had every intention of driving my 2005 Elantra all winter and for years to come. Because of the accident, I was in need of a new everyday car. Of course, without hesitation I purchased a 2020 Elantra and I couldn't be happier. Obviously, there are many new upgrades and safety options to get used to, but I am enjoying the dependability and reliability as well as the great pricing and wonderful experience I had at MJ Sullivan Hyundai, in CT with my salesman, Mike Desmond.

Hyundai Elantra SEL 2020

We have driven Hyundai's since 2001. We still have the 2001 model and traded in the 2003 model on our new 2020 Elantra SEL. Other than usual maintenance on the 2001 and 2003, the only thing we have ever had to do is replace tires; timing chain (you used to have to do this with the earlier models) and get rusted spots above tires sanded and repainted. We have always been very happy with the fuel economy on both of our Elantra's and find the new 2020 model has even better fuel efficiency. It's a sharp car with an abundance of features. It gives one a very smooth, comfortable ride with plenty of leg room; both front and back seat. We still have the 2001 Elantra - can't bear to part with it and we only have about 500 miles on the new one. If we are half as happy with this new 2020 as we have been with the old vehicles, we'll consider ourself very lucky. Thanks for making a great vehicle Hyundai- you have two very happy customers.

Very nice for a smaller vehicle

I reside in a very rural area so a dependable gas saving vehicle I can use to get me to where I get my supplies is a must, and the eye catching looks of this vehicle is a very nice addition, with all its roominess it is just another great aspect of a nice smaller vehicle.

Love this car so much and the color. Rides so nice and get plenty of compliments. Love the black interior and space. Sound system is just awesome for me. Elantras are the cars for me. The people at the dealership were nice too.
