Poorly made

Trunk paint does not match the rest of the car. The hood does not line up. I've been in contact with corporate office. They do not seem to care. Getting nowhere on the claim I filed on Nov 27. Today is Dec 18. Car only has about 170 miles.

Buyer Beware

Do Not Buy the 2021 Elantra. Have owned many Elantras and this will be my last - in fact my last Hyundai all together. Does not even compare to past Elantras - they made way too many mistakes with this car and the dealers dont tell the truth about what your getting.

Don’t recommend it.

The infotainment system of the vehicle doesn’t work well with Apple play. Frequent error appear when using Apple play and no one at Hyundai has a solution for this issue. I would not recommend this vehicle.

Terrible experience at Hyundai Doral, made a trade in and the payoff was nevera done affecring my Credit. Never again to go there, no reliable or trusting

Terrible experience, never again to visit Hyundai Doral, no one gives a response. I made a trade in and the payoff was never done. My Credit has bien affected and they do not care, no response and 3 months have passed.

This vehicle was poorly designed from the factory. I am have terrible gas mileage - .I'm very disappointed - Didn't get the options I requested !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Inspection

After I got my car and working with the best salesperson I had an issue with the car after 3 days when I went back to the serves they couldn't fix the issue and said they have to order parts for it and it could take forever to get it because the car is new, so it's been more than a week I'm driving a NEW car with a tape on it to hold the broken piece on the door with the risk if it will fly and break another car while driving ,and I can't wash my car god knows for how long. I also went back to the sales manger he was great but they couldn't help me also. what should be done in the first place is to inspect the car really good before you give it to customer. At the end of the day no matter what I do it won't change anything. They let me sign the paperwork without inspect the car . I don't want any one to go through this experience with his NEW car! the only reason I'm giving a 5 stares is because Hamid deserve it!

Total disappointment

I fell for the crap the dealer shoveled me. I bought the car and was quickly disappointed in the lack of anything in it. No rear cup holders? No sunglass compartment? I told the sales person how much I loved the push button start and trunk button, he agreed it is nice, yet it's NOT on my car, the stereo is garbage compared to my 2017 and does not have rear speakers. The lane departure assistant swerves even when your in the lane. This is the last Hyundai I will ever purchase, absolutely dumbfounded at the total downgraded feel of this car, worst purchase I have ever made.

Windshield just broke out of thin air

I was confused how my windshield was cracked, but after reading comments online, apparently this happens a lot with Hyundai!! Y’all do not want to accept responsibility!! Pretty shady!! Lawsuit soon!!

Unreliable

Brand new car that needed service within the first week of purchase . Beautiful interior, looks like a starship, however, it was stalling for no reason. Serviced and shop order a part for the car.....a part for a brand new car. I have never experienced that in my 45 years of diving

I'm stuck with it now

My friend Todd works here and he is amazing I know he doesn't make Hyundai and none of this is his fault but not even a week after I bought my car the AC blew out I brought it in Saturday morning the service people just made me sit there and wait a brand new car with the AC blowing out making me wait not good then when I questioned it they said they have to wait for a manager or a salesperson really one of those people has to be present to take care of a customer who has a car not even a week old that the AC blew out are you joking here I am almost a week later I still don't have my car

Noise related issues ruin driving experience

The car has assembly issues that the dealership refuses to fix. A new car makes rattling noises which ruins the driving experience. Everytime you drive over a bump or uneven road the car makes creaking/rattling noises. Seems like dashboard is not properly fixed.

My AC already went out 6 days old you had the car longer than me for the repair now it doesn't seem like it's working as well as it did before I doubt your mechanics can do any better

Second or third time I drove this car only 6 days technically 5 days after I got it picked it up on a Saturday the following Friday the AC blew out the service department told me bring it in on Saturday they made me sit there and wait because no one knew what to do then they had the car for I believe over 2 weeks and now it doesn't really seem like my AC is working as well as it did I'm expected to make new car payments insurance payments but this isn't a new car anymore the AC already blew out you should have replaced my card immediately lemon law or not

Poor experience

I don’t satisfy at all. It has inaccurate fuel meter system and abnormal sound from wheel when parking and other abnormal sound from back of the car it was like shaking losing parts. And sounds from windows slot too.

First Oil Change = New Engine

For the most part I would say I loved this car. It is stylish and the tech and safety features are simply amazing, especially for a car in this class. It comes with 3 years maintenance free, but I would be hesitant to use that option. The entire engine had to be replaced after the first oil change due to dealership error. I would expect Hyundai to have higher standards for their workers so that mistakes like this are not made. This might be a special case but I will never know the true joy owning this new vehicle.

The car was not worth $35,000. Car is made with very cheap material. The exterior doors and window shafts are so misaligned and the hood of the vehicle has defect that make the hood look like it’s open

I hate the cruise control

The car drives ok. The heater does not get hot enough and takes forever to warm up when it is cold outside. I absolutely hate the smart functions of the cruise control. It has almost caused wrecks at least twice when going through a corner. I will not buy another car with this “technology”

Do not buy.

Do not purchase this car. It has a problem with a 20 mph speed limit that can be accidently turned on without knowing it and the engine shuts down when stopped at a stop sign or red light which can be eliminated by pushing a switch on the dash.

Vehicle defective, growing mold

This is my fourth hyundai and it is a new vehicle with many issues The cowl is defective and causing severe mold buildup which is entering the cabin and making us sick. Service department has tried fixing 3 occasions and cannot fix.

Issue with engine. Car has been in shop for 2.5 months waiting on part. Integrated thermal module.

I am a very unhappy customer. My Car is a 2021 Elantra. I have not even had it for a year. On March 18th 2022 I got a message in my car to bring to the dealer - stating a condition with my engine control system. I dropped it off at Lia Hyundai in Enfield Ct . On March 22nd 2022.. They did a Diagnostic and told me I could not drive it and that they ordered a part : The part is an integrated thermal module. Lia stated its on back order and no ETA. And that is under warranty I called today May 13 ,2022. Still No ETA. I have been without a car for 22 Days Dealer has had no loaner vehicle to give me. I Have been offered to rent a car. But I have to pay all taxes and fees.( I should not have to pay a penny ) And I have to pay for it upfront. No refund until my car is returned to me. Hyundai acts like this is a great offer. I can not afford to pay for a rental for a week, never mind 65 days and counting - (with no ETA of when I am going to get my car back. ) This problem has been such an inconvenience. I am starting to regret buying another Hyundai. I have not been offered anything that can help me & my situation. Just told sorry, nothing we can do. Everyone I tell about this situation can not believe that Hyundai has not even given me a free loaner car. What happened to Hyundai's exceptional customer service and satisfaction?
