Buyer Beware

I purchased the all new Elantra Limited last year. With less than 8000 miles on it, the entire engine assembly had to be replaced. LUCKILY it was under warranty. Don't get me wrong, it is a beautiful car and tech and features might fool you but this is not a reliable vehicle. A new vehicle should never seize on the highway. There should be safety features in place for this type of engine failure. I am fortunate that I was not rear-ended with the engine died. This is the last Hyundai I will be owning.

Wonderful to be part of the Hyundai family.

I went for a maintenance on my 2020 Hyundai, and while there talked with the Salesman about an early release from my Lease. They are very professional, and understand my needs. While waiting I noticed a Trailer come in and on the back was a Blue 2022. As soon as I saw it I said I want that. So it was a GO, salesmen (Rocco Derenzis) wrote up the papers, and I am the NEW owner of a Elantra lease.

Excellent car to drive

I love this Elantra, my experience has been incredibly Good. The sales woman Kesia did and outsdanding job. The comfort and safety are amazing on this car. I had a Corolla and I did not expect this Space and comfort, connectivity it is easier than I expect.

highly recommended vehicle that exceeded my expectation

This vehicle was recommended to me as a reliable quality excellent value so I purchased it sight unseen. I did not realize how small the car was an expected putting up with a cramped car. I was pleasantly surprised when I usable foot room was as least as good as my hugh 2005 LaSabre. What I disliked about my LaSabre was ease of getting in and out. The Elantra is actually easier! The head room is adequate but not as impressive as the leg room. I have not discovered the purpose of the barrier between the driver and passenger seats. The purchasing experience was enjoyable and the dealer was able to accommodate my need to get the car before doing all of the paper work so I could use the car for a early morning appointment.

Driving Hyundai since 1989

This is another well put together and pleasure to drive Hyundai. Have been recommending Hyundais since 1990,won't drive anything else.... I have bought Hyundai Excel GT, Sonata, Veloster, Santa Fe, Tucson, and Elantras. Extremely happy over the years!

Great

Great for first time buyer. Doesn't come with lights on vanity mirror. Speakers are okay up front but none in back. Especially when I love music when I'm driving. Need to I stall speakers and so woofer another 500$. Better cup holder for back passenger.

Elantra continues to exceed expectations

I have owned 3 other Hyundai vehicles. I had no hesitation in choosing another Hyundai for my retirement car !! Love the vehicle detectors in side mirrors. Can’t believe how clearly objects are seen in the rear camera.

Overall positive but could be some improvements

Overall I am pleased with the vehicle I do think there are some small tweaks and design changes to the interior that could improve the overall functionality of the car. Simplifying the windshield wiper controls would be an easy thing to improve upon. Moving or redesigning the bar that goes along the center console. The unused flat panel to the left of the gauge cluster could be removed or redesigned to allow for a functional purpose such as a cell phone holder. I have the SEL package but would appreciate lumbar support in the seats. Cup holders in the back seat area that are not at an angle in the doors would make the rear seating area better for kids and other passengers. Overall I am very pleased with the car, just a few minor things would make a big difference in the car.

This is a very nice car. Drives smoothly. It is very great on gas. I wish there was more truck space. It Needs lumbar support. It needs a better place for the wireless charger. Maybe horizontal instead of vertical.

In my Opinion, not a safe car!

No adaptive cruise control, but has the other driver assist features like lane keep and lane centering, SO IT REALLY NEEDS ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL. TOTALLY UNSAFE WITHOUT IT, while the other two features are ON!!!! Really, it’s horrible!
