It’s Just a Car

The Elantra is a just a basic car. Base model is crap. Next step up is okay. If you want any cool features you have to get packages and a next tier trim. It drives nice. The dealership was the second worst car buying experience I had (I’ve bought 7 cars so far). The 3-year free maintenance was a lie and scam. Go get a Chevy instead.

Opertaing system is buggy

1. After system update, remote trunk proximity sensor and phone charging did not work. Had to toggle to off then on to get to work. 2. Car rattles, passenger side visor and speakers. 3. Carplay steering wheel buttons work inconsistently when forward/rewinding track. Looks like they are configured for radio skipping and not Carplay.

Exceptional Styling / Poor Durability

The car is a spectacle to look at. The styling is superb, but there are drawbacks. An engine that burns oil excessively, paints that chips easily, and dealership tires that blew within 6 months of purchase.

The vehicle is ok. U cannot lock the vehicle with the key for if u step out with the engine on. No sunroof for the sel for the money. No nice rims for the money almost 30k for it. The find my car app sucks no real time driving

Attention to interior design!!!

Multi billion dollars co. Such as Hyundai must ...I repeat MUST manufacture their cars with every possible installation inside the cars, NOT TO PUT SOME PHONY DEVICE!!!...covers and grills are there but no speakers!!!are they trying to save money???!!!!

2023 Elantra

Good little car gets excellent fuel mileage we after 38,000 miles we are averaging 43 mpg. No issues so far my only concern is the emergency braking system seems to need some attention as it randomly thinks somethings in the sensor and smashes on the brakes. Has happen 3 times, once early morning, once in the rain and once when a truck passed me in the left lane, this could have caused serious accidents being it was on a highway when it happen. Overall we are satisfied with vehicle so far.

2023 elantra sel with convience package

Bought it brand new. For a 2023 and not being a base model there is no power seat, no led headlights, heat takes 25 minutes plus to warm up in the winter. Paint is chipping all over the front. Don't have the upgraded sound system but what's in it is terrible. Gets good gas mileage. It's ok, if I had to do it over again I probably would have waited for other vehicles to become available before buying.

Looks great but it’s got significant issues

I love the look and it gets fantastic gas mileage. It’s modern and sleek looking. At 4,000 miles it’s already having significant issues with acceleration, braking, and the “automatic steering” only works for a few seconds. That was sold to me as a huge bonus as it essentially can drive it self thanks to lane correction and self steering ability of the car. The “complimentary maintenance” has many limitations and can only be used a few times. This is merely an oil change and inspection. The “First Mile Warranty” sounded like a good investment but also only covers niche repairs and has a lot of fine print.

LIMITED TRIM LEVEL

GREAT STYLING, BUT FALLS SHORT ON QUALITY OF INTERIOR, RIDE QUALITY ETC. I FOUND BRAKING TO BE INSUFFICENT DOWNHILL AND/OR ANYTHING MORE THAN AVEAGE BRAKING ACTION. ROAD NOISE LEVEL IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR THE "LIMITED" TRIM LEVEL

Good for short drivers.

Good for short drivers. All the extra warning lights and beeps are VERY distracting. People at Boch Hundai in Norwood, Mass were very helpful. Maybe Hundai could go back to making more smaller plain and simple cars.

Long and frustrating experience

Compact and small. Rides great and looks great. The style is nice and sleek, but the care’s interior is small. If you are small and single, it’s a good car for you. It’s a gas saver. The trunk is sis ious as well.

My sales rep. did a great job. He really cared about any of my concerns.

I like my vehicle overall, but when I received the vehicle with the glue mark issues and the buff marks still on my car. the rating has dropped. The detail personnel they use are not very good at what they do and do not seem to care about the quality of the work they do. I would have rated it higher, but I am not totally satisfied.

It's okay.

The car's fuel efficiency is incredible, hands down the best part about the car. The ride quality does not come to par with the fuel efficiency and lacks quite greatly. No matter what road conditions are, the ride always feels bumpy. The dealership did not find anything wrong with the car the last time I took it in either. I don't think anything is wrong with my car, I just feel it may be the quality of materials used that are the cause of the unsmooth ride the car gets.

Nice looking car for its price, Bad build quality (interior)

Bought a new 23 Sel elantra for its price its a winner! But Service/warranty claim killed it hence the 3 stars. Be aware rattling noise was not fixed left it at the dealer for 7 days. I hope they improve this coming days.

Loving the gas mileage

sharp looking car with great gas mileage. I love the driving assistance features and the rear view camera! I have trouble getting in and out if seat isn't all the way up or back. Need slightly longer arms than mine for reaching nav screen comfortably.

Frustrating

2 services trips within 1st month due to electrical issues. Vehicle is now at dealership for at least a couple days and I’m without a car There’s no guarantee on a loaner, but we shall see if they can get me one
