Dealership Service problems

Service at the dealership. Lost my appointment. Does not have an answer for a question gets frustrated. hard to talk to. A bent oil sensor bracket, caused an expensive Oil pan replacement. When only the bracket was need. Replace Oil pan, put used Oil back in my engine. Engine left dealership 2 quarts low. This Survey is way too long.

Elantra SEL with Convs Pack 2023

Doesn’t have Wireless car and cheapest models do. Too expensive for what they are offering. Jacksonville NC dealers tend to take advantage of the military so I don’t like that. Didn’t really try to negotiate with you.

No power transmission is bad

The 2023 Hyundai elantra limited is not a very good car it has no power and the transmission is not very good but if you live in the city and only need the car for a few miles a day then maybe I would love the car if these problems were solved

Mop didn’t perform as promised

After owning this Elantra hybrid for 6 months, the miles per gallon has never performed as promised. Most of the time we average 36 mpg.(that with a lot of highway miles) We have taken it back to dealer 2 times to see why it doesn’t perform as promised. We are told that it runs fine & Hyundai says there is nothing they can do to fix the issue. Really disappointed in this car manufacturer!

Insulation is going to be a problem if you can’t fix it then everone that knows about it wouldn’t be coming to your car lots you need to fix the problem be for it gets worse it on the new now I wish I had checked out the rating better and I wouldn’t have got you car

car is to low and hard to get in and out of

Car is to low and hard to get in and out of key fob doesn't work all the time for remote start something that is important to me. Inside of car is to small and seat adjustment is not on passenger side. Car is very uncomfortable. I thought car would be like my 2020 that is why I leased the 2023 very disapointed with my purchase.

It's a great car, but there are outside factors bringing the value down

Overall the car is pretty good. It drives well, had a nice interior with a great climate control system. The radio js pretty good. The active cruise control is good, but has a problem catching up to the car in front if you. The biggest issue I have is that my insurance went up by $800 per year because the insurance companies consider it a "high theft risk vehicle"

Do NOT Buy This Car

So if you use their website to schedule an appointment, just be informed that they use the classic Bait and switch. By the way, that's probably the only way you're going to be able to schedule a service appointment. So for us, the website said $199. And the price was actually 299 dollars. Keep in mind. The website is very vehicle specific. You put in your year and model on the website. At the dealership, they said, oh, yeah, we know about that, and the service manager is trying to get it changed. But as we all know, if you pay the software developer, they will make the changes that you want made.

It's an average car at best

The car was purchased new and while the driving experience and overall look of the car is amazing, compound by the great fuel economy, but the experience is ruined by the overall reliability of the car. The car has not even reached pass its 500 mile break in phase and it's already having issues. If I would have known it was going to be this easy to encounter issues with the vehicle I would have chosen a different brand.

Noises coming from interior, Good mileage

Good mileage and nice features. Handling and steering is also good. The dashboard panel also looks pretty nice and the exterior design is good. Intermittent noises are coming from the interior of the vehicle. Hard to find for the dealer where the noises are coming from.

Cute but disappointing

The car is adorable in bright blue with black wheels but as a new car that cost 27,000 dollars, I should not have problems with heating and cooling or my windows opening or not opening. The vehicle is spacious but awkwardly designed - when you open the door, rain pours in off the side of the car into the car getting the seats wet. The back seat is roomy, but an adult's head will touch the ceiling. The trunk is spacious but if you have a bad back it is hard to reach groceries and lift them out. A bigger adult will have a hard time getting in and out of this car. My family prefers riding in the Kona - even with less leg room in the backseat.

Found lacking for price

Really disappointed by the 2023 Elantra. For $27k I expected this to be better than my 2007 sonata, and my 2012 and 2018 Elantra. It is not. I’ll be lucky if this car lasts the length of time I have the car financed for. The features like bluelink that was prominently featured as a selling point do not work. The drive score hasn’t updated since I purchased the car. It still says it’s calculating and has since the car was purchased in September. The speakers sound horrible, like they’re the cheapest thing Hyundai could find to install. Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay constantly disconnect and can take hours to get back to working properly, and averages happening once a week. My car doesn’t update the software, there’s an issue with it connecting so the software is out of date and may be the cause of why there are so many electrical issues with the car. The TPMS has went off since we had a cold snap here in Florida, and has been going off for a week and the tires aren’t low, the PSI is what it needs to be but the warning won’t go away. There was huge gouge in the paint on my trunk that was there the day I purchased the car. Overall, highly disappointed in this purchase and unless there’s a major overhaul I will not be purchasing from Hyundai again.

You get what you pay for never forget that. The 2022 Elantra is an OK car, but for the money there are better options. The ride quality, performance and build quality are OK at best. I would choose differently if given the opportunity.

Issues off the bat(but I still love the car)

So much to love about the 23 Elantra n-line but so many problems. Hopefully Hyundai takes care of these issues so they won’t be a concern anymore. I get it is a new car and there might be some issues I just wasn’t expecting this many.

Basic

Very compact. Not made for families because of size. The seating is not as comfortable as I’d prefer. It’s not power seats. And I’m not okay with this. I will be trading this car in as soon as I can for a much larger size vehicle for me and my family. Thank you

Great Car | Average Dealer

There's a few more features I really want added, but the dealership wasn't willing to work with me. The car itself is great regardless, and it's generally a great brand. If I was able to get those other features dealt with, I'd give a 5 star.

Overall a nice vehicle

It has some of the best MPG in a non-hybrid vehicle. It drives very well. It's smooth but has some pickup when needed. The safety features are very nice. It has a larger trunk than I would expect for the size of the vehicle. The interior is comfortable, but looks a little odd and is a lot of plastic.

Paint issues

Had marks under paint. No iphone digital key. No wireless carplay. Annoying alert when accessary mode is on. Vehicle panels where not aligned to cars hood. More gap on drivers side then on the passengers side of car.
