Poor Quality Control

The car is very nice and drives great. It has good pickup and handling and is fairly gas efficient. I am quite disappointed with the quality control. I had the car in for service for over 2 weeks and the car had only 309 miles on it. The front bumper had sagged and crated a large gap between the hood and bumper. Hyundai had to bring in an engineer to determine a fix. The headlights are WAY to sensitive when on auto. Just passing a truck causes all the dash to dim. It appears that a shadow requires headlights to be on?

Car is ok

The FCA is not working as advertised and I took it into the dealership to review, they stated that it is just how it works. It is disappointing I bought a new car that should have FCA features as advertised but they are not working.

Trunk surround

Bad design around the trunk lid. The corners where it meets the roof keeps coming up because it's only held down with 2 sided tape. I had mine replaced and the same thing. I only made one payment. Now I'm stuck with it. Better get a better design crew..

It is a new car.... but it is not what I would pick again!

My 2017 Elantra (300,000 miles) had no bells and whistles- Which I think I really prefer! My 2025 (now just under 8,000 miles) has some, but not all-and some very annoying ones. I am not happy with the new cars seat (not as comfy as my older), the annoying passive aggressive beeping alarm constantly rudely requesting that I "Consider taking a break" and muting my radio broadcast- all because I can't drive exactly in the middle of the curvy lane due to bumpy rough spots in the asphalt- (good luck turning it off!) The constant skipping/volume change of my FM broadcast because the radio can't make up it's mind to be in either HD or standard FM mode. And, so far, last, but not least, the vent control will not allow me to not have the defrost on and the internal re-circulate function enabled at the same time! I hate being behind a exhaust laden diesel truck or semi and suddenly not be able to breath! The last thing is that my salesman said Bluelink came with it, but as it turned out- nope! So, now I am stuck with the mediocre Android auto. If anyone is reading this that actually cares, Would you please make an update to make the car switch off the driving alarm, and be able to disable the HD radio? If the answer is a solid no, then my next car will be a Toyota!

Same features for a higher price

There is not much of a difference between the 23 Elantra and the base 25 Elantra except that the price is higher. So, it feels like you are just paying more for the same car. The base trim on the 25 Elantra does not have Sirius XM equipped so you are unable to listen to it at all. There are some odd design choices on the dashboard such as the speedometer being digital with no setting to change it to analog. The digital screen on the dash also doesn't look great as it has a mini screen that splits the speedometer rpm screen in an odd-looking way. The dashboard on the 23 Elantra was so much cleaner and looked way better. Not sure why they felt the need to change it when they already had a good design on previous models.

The Driver Attention Warning keeps coming on for no apparent reason. Evidently it can not be deleted or stopped. It very annoying and distracting. I am thinking about trading it for a different make of car.

When driving off

When driving away sometimes car vibrates you can feel in the steering wheel, with no car on site. Feels like when you are pulling out on reverse from a parking spot and a car a is passing by just without the red light on the dashboard.
