Gig job, living in car

I've spent a great deal of time in this vehicle upon purchasing it I made sure to tell the salesman my needs but he was really trying to make a sale and ignored some facts about my illness and back pain I have muscle spasms and back pain and I'm still waiting for social security to make a correct ruling so I wanted to do gig jobs but I didn't have a good car so I started to use the Hyundai Elantra 2025 first thing I noticed was the car was too low for me to get in and out over 200 times delivering packages as a carrier for my own LLC Miracle Works Enterprises so the new business I started was off to a rocky start then I noticed every time I wanted to leave the car running and deliver a package and have it locked it's difficult because in alarm would ring loudly if I'll leave the car with the keys in hand alerting everyone around that my vehicle is open and running. Another thing that I noticed is I know this might be a safety or security feature but every time I leave the car running and I go to open the back door or any other door it's locked another thing I noticed that I did not like or appreciate is the fact that to use many of the functions of the vehicle I have to link it to an app or my phone and I don't feel comfortable with that so many of the functions of my new vehicles unable to use because I have to have a blue link. There are many other things that I noticed because I practically lived in the vehicle since I purchased it due to the government shutdown on a lot of things going off financially.

Seam leak right out of the gate.....

I've had the vehicle for less than 3 months and since day 1, the vehicle has had a factory defect seam leak in the trunk area. Then, about 3 weeks ago, my driver's side front tire low pressure warning light started blinking. The tire never needed air. Someone at the dealership advised me that it is the sensor and that the sensor needed to be recalibrated. The main cause of this is the recent cold to bitter cold weather. So I (finally) brought the Elantra to the dealership to be fixed last Saturday(1/10/26),only to be told about the seam leak. I was given a loaner with no scheduled return date. The problem is...the loaner is a much better, nicer vehicle than my Elantra. Hmm. Possible trade ?

Elantra models have definitely gone downhill since 2010

Having owned an Elantra before, I really expected more out of my 2025 model. I ran out of wiper fluid and there was no message on my dash. The center console and glove box have shrunk significantly. The entire front is smaller and not as comfortable as my old one. I have higher RPMs in ECO mode than I'd expect compared to older models. All in all, I'm super disappointed.

It's Fine

Of the econoboxes that are on the market, this is certainly one of them. It's fine as a car and great for what it is. Good on fuel, good interior space, apply car play (wireless on the lower models). There is nothing else to the cars.

Disappointed

Overall, the vehicle was reliable, but there are many things about this vehicle now that I’ve had it for 14 months I’m not sure I would lease this vehicle again. At least this particular model. There are certain features such as visibility in the back window is somewhat blocked by the brake light that interferes with rear Vision. I actually removed the headrest from the backseat so that I could get a clear view of what was behind me. The road noise is more than I expected. Amenities are marginal. Interior lighting as an example is poor. The HVAC system is marginal. Fan pressure is weak. The suspension feels loose.

Uneven hood, uneven trunk, brand new & interior back light not working

Honestly, it’s cheaply built interior wise and poorly built on the exterior as well. The look of the car is amazing, but if you look closer, there’s a lot of issues with it, too many for a brand new vehicle.
