censors going nuts!!

The car censors for "parking" and then the 'crash signal' flashed today while we're still in the driveway! We didn't know what to do so we turned car off and back on! Also it's happened a few times that during fog or other weather event, a message across the dash that says "camera obscured"-right when I need help driving!!

Overall good process

After a heavy rainy day a couple of months ago, my brand-new 2025 vehicle, which I purchased just about a year ago, began to develop a strong and unpleasant odor that smells like a dirty mop or wet rag. Despite keeping the car very clean and washing it every weekend, the smell has never gone away and continues to return every time I drive it. I took the vehicle to the dealership for inspection, and although they replaced the cabin air filter, they stated that everything else was fine and that there was nothing more they could do. However, the odor has persisted even after the filter change, which is especially frustrating given that the car is still new and the issue clearly began after the rainy day, suggesting that moisture may be trapped somewhere in the vehicle.

didn’t like it

it feels very cheap like the plastic in the car veey easily moves just by using my hands. The car does not take potholes very well at all and feels like there are no shocks whatsoever.

So far nice

I recently took it to the shop for a check up they only changed the oil and charge me for coolant. No other checks Tires Other oils And washer fluid My vehicle is new and under warranty No heated seats. No CD player 😞

Not really happy with this model!

I am a tall (6ft., 4"in.) person and84 years old. This vehicle is difficult to enter and exit. ... I should have stuck with the Tucson. The Elantra won the price battle ... couldn't afford a $125 per month lease increase!

Great Car, because its the 2024 Hyundai again

As a frequent purchaser of Hyundai Elantra's for all my cars, I can say I am familiar with many of their features. And as someone who debated between the 2024 and 2025 Hyundai, I can tell you. They are nearly the same car. So while the car is great, it loses points for not upgrading the car Especially when versions of the 2020 Elantra have features the 2025 is still lacking, like a self adjusting temperature regulation system (why is this still manual controls 5 years later?) Also, the car revs itself into 3rd gear while going down steep hills and doesn't go back down, even when off the hill, until the car comes to almost a complete stop. A weird quirk, not sure if other cars do this, but I hope it can be fixed.

Safe, sporty, techy

I love all of the safety features, technology, and sporty look. Road noise is annoying and I hit my left knee often when getting in the driver seat. Power seats would be nice. Over all a nice vehicle.

i am quite disappointed in this car.

my 2022 was much better the safety features do not work consistant i almost hit someone yesterda backing up the car did not warn me. good i always look. the steering wheel will not change position,

Wish it had all the features of my 2024 Elantra

So I bought this car due to my Hyundai 2024 SEL being totaled in an unfortunate accident. At first I liked it, but did not have enough time to truly do research into this car since I needed a car fast. As the months went by I realized my favorite features were missing, most importantly the blue link which arguably saved my life when I had my wreck. I also had to get seat warmers put into the car for my comfort. I work night shift as a nurse and those seat warmers often soothed my back after a hard night of work. Additionally, walking out in the dead of winter to wait on my car to defrost and heat up is not pleasant at all. Finally, where in the world are the back seat cupholders. Yes, the door bottle holders are present, but those cannot hold drinks from restaurants should I have additional riders. I hope with the 2026 model, they bring these features back as it what made me fall in love with the Elantra in the first place.

Nothing special

The price is right, the ride is smooth and quiet. However... 1. The automatic engine-off feature (to save gas at stop lights) is inconsistent. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Usually when it's off, if the car in front pulls forward even a couple of inches, the engine starts back up. I just drive with this feature turned off all the time. 2. The lane following feature is a little too "enthusiastic," and often it feels like the steering system is taking over. Of course I can override it by just using the wheel, but it's still a bit disconcerting. 3. I'd like to see about another inch of ground clearance. This car can scrape concrete parking curbs. 4. There's a touchscreen "confirm" button that shows up on the LCD when you start the car. Sometimes it takes 10 to 15 seconds for the button to actually become visible. 5. I get ads on the LCD screen. If you want to show me ads on something I BOUGHT, you pay me. 6. The touchscreen isn't always sensitive to touch. 7. The overall user interface on the LCD screen is a bit clunky.

Quite a few problems after 3 mos of ownership

The vehicle has had some issues: the charging pad overheats, the main screen overheats, the screen and music stay on even after the car is turned off, the back up camera glitches, the language on the screens randomly changed to Chinese. This has not been a pleasant experience.

Handles poorly

Great gas mileage, great safety and electronic features, however, mine handles very poorly on turns/curves/rain. Also, my transmission is often straining in a low gear, like being in 2nd gear going 30 mph. And, the speakers absolutely suck- big time. Horrible sound
