It's a reliable vehicle but.

I love the Hyundai Elantra CN7 but I personally believe there was budget cuts for them . I'm still paying $33,000 can I at least have a trunk unlock button?

Didn’t come with a spare! Check yours out if you decide to buy.

This car is fun to drive, especially in sport mode! It has a lot of pep. I can switch it over to sport mode and it will jump right up and TAKE OFF. If it is in sport mode, it acts like a race car. When you start slowing down, it’ll be revving like it’s a horse at the starting line wanting to bust out running. I went from driving a suburban to this…it’s quite different lol. For the most part I’ve had no issues. I did feel a little cheated when it didn’t have a spare in the N line. It was supposed to be a higher quality than the other Elantra’s (which I checked for a spare in, and the one I looked in, had a spare), but when I bought my N line car off the showroom floor, it didn’t have a spare tire and I didn’t know it until I had already bought it. I hope the Hyundai company will remedy that for me. If they do, I would give a better review. It has things that are may be better than average on a car like this, but that takes it down a lot in my opinion, which is why I rated it as average. That’s my biggest complaint so far. It only has 6,000 miles on it right now, so I can’t tell you how the durability will be. One thing to watch out for if you get this car is the low clearance. It WILL scrape on the front fender if the road has much of a dip coming off a driveway. I’ve had it happen several times in town. I pulled out of a Casey’s parking lot onto the street and it scraped, and out of our electric company’s driveway onto the Main Street in our town and scraped again. I have to be very careful. It’s too low to pull up to a parking space with a curb. It will scrape those, too. This isn’t a deal breaker for me, but if it is for you, go with a different car. Last thing I’ll mention is the trunk space. It has a LOT. I was surprised at how much room it has.

Loved until now

I loved this car except there is no rear a/c control and I found that uncomfortable for those riding in my back seat . Also , my dealer mechanic was surprised that an air motor and its casing was not sealed more allowing a mouse to create its nest there which had resulted in almost 5,000 out of pocket for me on a car that is only a couple months in my possession as brand new.

Missing a few things

Front camera, weak when parking as it does not let you know how close to the curb or pole you may be. Crash indicator doesn’t alarm until you almost in the trunk of the vehicle in front of you. Yet the cruise control will slam on the brakes when there is enough room to park a semi. Locks, why can’t I leave the vehicle running, get out and lock the door with it running?

Stressful

Took to long, finance lied about what they were going to pay to pay trade in, brakes were warped and rusty so rotors had to be shaved down on a brand new car, no deal price because of the brake defects, over all buying from the dealership was very frustrating and dissapointing.

Good car, great features.

Let's start with the good. You get a lot of features for the price. Sunroof, security features, good warranty, etc. Now with "what could be improved". This is all preference-based but here what I don't like about the car: 1. The engine is weak for 2.0L 4-cylinder compared to my previous car a 2017 Civic LX which was also 2.0L 4-cylinder but had more horse power and weighed less. You can especially feel it going from a full stop (I know about the sports mode) 2. Too much electronic noise. The steering wheel motor is too loud for me, so is the electric noise from the car electronics (capacitor hum/buzz whatever you wanna call it) So much so that my car will NOT be a Hyundai if that noise level is still there.

A Realistic Review from a Repeat Customer

The Elantra is fair. I traded a 2011 Sonata for a 2025 Elantra. The Elantra has much more interior legroom now, so I can fit inside. However, the upgraded technology (i.e. dash panel) is not intuitive. There should be a welcome video to show you the basics so that you don't have to read the manual or search YouTube, especially given the computerized safety features.

Good gas mileage, good get-up-and go--uncomfortable seat--

I should have stuck w/The Tucsons!! I blame myself for changing to Elantra--too small overall--driver's seat is miserable-feels as I am sitting on a large spring coil-- seat NEEDS more padding-- also needs to have an assist handle above driver's side--will never use standard transmission thing--ever--minimum interior appeal-- - nice red color-

Car is great but windy noise coming from driver side is really annoy

Great car. Good fuel economy. Only problem windy noise coming from driver side which makes me uncomfortable and cabin noise is not silent. I went to the dealership they said its a cheap car. $26k is not cheap i believe

terrible driver's seat--uncomfortable--metal coil of some kind constantly felt in center of seat

Good gas mileage-good get-up-and go--interior is minimal at best--needs assist handle on driver's side!!--Driver's seat is miserable--good color--wish I had stuck to my Tucsons! My fault.
