Amazing Value for the money

Great car for the money. Has power and convenience. Some may not like the borrowed styling of the S550 but I am a fan. It is a boat but doesn't feel like on the road. Great stereo and love the roomy back seat.

More than I expected !!!

I never thought o consider an Equus. My first thought for luxury sedans was the BMW 7series, Audi A8, Mercedes 550 but the Equus stands beside them all with a savings of $50k and more. Equus should be it's own brand.

Equus 2014

Sorry I didn’t buy the ultimate package. My wife has it on her Genesis and it is really great. The car is heavy and does not do well on regular gas need to use the mid-grade or premium for efficient driving. Due to the vehicle wait get 40000 miles on tires not 50 k plus I was used to getting in a Sante Fe. Overall the ride is incredible and it is the best highway driving vehicle I have ever owned.

Great vehicle, but...

I really enjoy my Equus. But the hesitation and stuttering you experience in the engine under gentle acceleration at lower speeds is irritating. The dealer has never been able to fix this problem. I have learned I am not the only person who experiences this. Hyundai needs to figure this out. Otherwise, it is a great vehicle.

Nice Car

I love my Equus, however, I regret not getting the fully loaded one. Its a very nice riding vehicle with lots of power. I would rather have it than any BMW, Lexus, Audi, Cadillac, Mercedes, Chevy, Ford and Porsche. It does present a heaver carbon build up when stomping on the gas pedal. Thats the only dislike and wish there was a solution

Great Luxury Car

We have owned our Equus for 4 years and have been very happy with it. It has been reliable and a very comfortable car to drive. The only problem I have had - which has never been resolved is the Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFLS). This has never worked and despite several efforts to get corrected and several letters to Hyundaa ( none of which were answered), the problem continues to this day. No one seemed to want to acknowledge that there was a problem. I finally gave up. I did drive a G90 and it also has this feature that worked properly. I was told that I would not be able to see the movement not true, it was clearly visible on the G90. All other aspects of this vehicle are great, but the lack of follow up on the AFLS is very disappointing. I doubt that this review will result in an corrective action..

Like riding In A Limousine Every Time I Get In The Car!

After over a year of ownership there are still features in the car I am not sure how to use. So many buttons, features, and toys to play with WOW! The power of the V8 engine is spectacular as is the suspension. Decibel levels in this sedan has got to be one of the lowest of any car. Silence is golden!! The only annoyances are no digital clock just an analog clock that is hard to see by the driver. The navigation system has a NON touch screen. I have to turn a knob and push the knob for functions to perform and to get and results. So 1990.

Amazing Luxury/Needs better performance & MPG

I got the Equus for my wife because we have two small kids and she didn’t want SUV. The car is beautiful to look at and plenty of room for car seats. It’s Luxury is parallel to any S class Mercedes or 7 series BMW. I think it’s more comfortable and more user friendly than either of those at a much cheaper price tag. That said, it performs no where near a Benz, BMW, or Audi. The gas mileage is laughable. It’s equivalent to driving an old RV or something. City driving it gets between 11-15mpg. Highway averages at around 21mpg. Overall the Equus is perfect for what we use it for and I’d recommend it to anyone who’s willing to give up performance & MPG for Luxury.

Without a doubt the most comfortable luxury vehicle I've ever owned and I've owned them all. Navigation is limited due to technology being updated. The dealership that I originally purchased a car from lack the sophistication and expertise to deliver a luxury car .

Love my car, this car is a blessing from God. It has all the features I was looking for in a car. Most importantly I have those features for much less than car of equal stature. My Equus stands out and when I drive by people stop and stare.

finest automobile i'v ever owned!

I have a 2013 Genesis and I was so impressed with it I bought a 2014 Equus! Now I'm really impressed. The equus is by far the best and most fun to drive automobile I have ever owned! The ride is comfortable and the handling is safe and nimble it gets the job done and as fast as I want it to be with plenty of power left over just for fun! Merging into fast traffic is easy and secure.
